A big thank you to everyone who joined us at The Luxurie Condo for our Emergency Preparedness & National Day Celebrations last Saturday! 🇸🇬✨
It was wonderful seeing residents learn more about emergency readiness through our panel displays, interactive games, WE Residents Pledge Board and government agency booths — while also celebrating National Day with carnival games, snacks, a magic show and puppet show that brought plenty of smiles and laughter.
Special thanks to The Luxurie Condo MCST for partnering with us and to all the residents who came down to support the event. Your participation made the evening a meaningful success!

"❤️ Stronger Together in Sengkang North!
Our dedicated volunteers from Sengkang North C2E and Compassvale Lodge Residents’ Network (RN) members joined hands with SCDF for a swift post-fire blitz at Block 291B Compassvale Street (Lodge).
From checking on residents to ensuring safety and clearing up after the incident, this is community spirit at its best — caring, coordinated, and always ready to support one another.
Thank you to all our volunteers and SCDF personnel for your hard work and commitment to keeping our neighbourhood safe!

Our Fire Safety Awareness Day on Saturday, 23 May 2026 was a roaring success! Residents turned up in full force and action-packed morning of life-saving knowledge and hands-on learning.

From the Fire Evacuation Exercise and Fire Extinguisher Hands-on Experience to the interactive booths by SCDF, SPF, NEA & C2E, and completing the stamp trail for goodies — everyone left feeling more prepared and confident!
A huge shoutout to every resident, volunteer, and partner who made this event possible. Special thanks to our organiser Compassvale Cape Residents’ Network (RN) and all supporting organisations:

[Operationalisation and Islandwide Testing of SG Alert on 10 May]

In April 2026, SCDF announced the implementation of SG Alert, a mass emergency alert system that broadcasts time-sensitive emergency alerts to all mobile devices islandwide or within specific geographical zones. This system will be rolled out in phases, beginning with public testing for Singtel network users.

At 𝟭𝟮𝗽𝗺 on 𝟭𝟬 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, SCDF will conduct island-wide testing of SG Alert for Singtel users. Mobile phones will need to be updated with the latest Apple or Google Android operating system (iOS 26.4 or OS 12, with the latest Google Play system update) to receive the alert. No internet connection, application download or account registration is required.

Users will receive a pop-up notification with the header ‘SG Alert’, accompanied by an alert tone and a vibration pattern. The alert will also bypass the phone’s “Do Not Disturb” or silent mode settings.
