🏠Magic happens when community comes together!

🎨Last week, our HSBC volunteers and Habitat volunteer Asha went to Mr Lai’s home for the second Project HomeWorks session, applying a fresh second coat of paint to brighten up his home.

For seniors like Mr Lai, creating a safer, healthier and more comfortable home can make a meaningful difference to everyday life and help them age with greater dignity.

A big thank you to HSBC for bringing your volunteers on board as part of a 12-month partnership to rehabilitate 100 homes through Project HomeWorks, and to for generously donating 5L of paint to support our works.💛

🌡️ "It's getting hotter, can switch on the aircon?"

For many low-income families in Indonesia, home isn't always a place of relief.

That's why Habitat for Humanity Singapore, in partnership with Habitat Indonesia is building smarter with passive cooling that will:
✅ Reduce indoor temperatures by up to 2°C
✅ Improve sleeping comfort at night, when heat is normally trapped indoors
✅ Stabilize indoor temperature throughout the day
✅ Lower greenhouse gas emissions by cutting reliance on mechanical cooling
