Congratulations to volunteers and supporters of A Packet of Rice

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our 63 generous sponsors who came forward to make this special distribution possible!

When APOR first started in September 2012, our objective was simple - to bring a warm meal and a little kindness to seniors living in public rental flats at Jalan Bukit Merah. Fourteen years later, that same idea continues, made possible by the kindness, generosity and unwavering support of people like you.

To our sponsors and contributors - Thank you for believing in what we do. Some of you have been supporting APOR for many years, while others have only recently joined our journey. Regardless of how long you have been with us or the amount you contributed, every act of generosity has made a difference. Your kindness has helped us to carry on this project.

To the volunteers - Thank you for giving your time, energy and heart. From the planning and packing to carrying the goodie bags and delivering them door to door, every contribution played an important part in making this distribution possible. We are equally grateful to our community partners for helping us reach the seniors who need our support.

To our ICs - Behind every successful APOR distribution is a group of dedicated ICs who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make everything happen. I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your commitment, dedication and unwavering support throughout this journey. From planning and coordinating to packing, managing volunteers and ensuring that our distributions run smoothly, I know how much time and effort you have put in, often sacrificing your weekends and personal time. APOR would not have come this far without all of you. What started as a simple initiative 14 years ago has grown into something truly meaningful, and I am grateful to have all of you walking this journey with me.

To PCS Cedar Tree Jalan Bukit Merah - we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for your continued support and partnership. PCS Cedar Tree team for assisting us with the coordination, identifying the seniors and helping us reach out to them. Your support has been invaluable in ensuring that our distributions reach those who need them.

To Xiang Catering - Since September 2012, Xiang Catering has been providing hot meals for our seniors, helping us ensure that they receive a hearty meal during our distributions. Your continued support has played an important role in sustaining APOR over the years.

To Sheng Siong - Since December 2020, Sheng Siong has been our trusted supplier of dry food and household essentials, helping us stretch our resources so that we can continue reaching out to more seniors.
