A shared belief 10 years ago has grown into a national mentoring movement — powered by mentors, partners, organisations, schools and communities working together to support young people in Singapore.

From conversations to connections, this movement has opened doors for countless youths to have their .

🚀 We've reached an exciting milestone in our journey.

The Mentoring SG movement will continue to grow under the full stewardship of the National Youth Council Singapore (NYC). Moving forward, mentoring opportunities will be part of NYC's refreshed Discover platform.

Discover is a trusted digital compass for every youth in Singapore. As a one-stop platform for opportunities, resources and more, it empowers youths to navigate life's moments with confidence, unlock their potential and shape a future they're excited about.

As we begin this next chapter, one thing remains unchanged: mentoring continues to make a difference because of people who choose to give their time, experience and encouragement.

The Mentoring SG movement is entering its next chapter. 🚀

We recently welcomed our partners to a special briefing to share an exciting milestone for the Mentoring SG movement as it transitions under the full stewardship of the National Youth Council (NYC).

Executive Director of Mentoring SG, Kelvin Kong, reflected on why the movement first began — to put young people at the heart of everything we do, and how this next chapter builds on the longstanding partnership between Mentoring Alliance Singapore(MASg) and NYC, enabling us to serve even more youths through mentoring.

Ian Tan, Director — Youth Outreach and Marketing of Mentoring SG, then took partners through the evolution of the movement over the past decade — sharing the milestones, partnerships and strategies that have grown mentoring into the national movement it is today.

Chairman of MASg, Glenn Lim, also shared how MASg will continue strengthening Singapore's mentoring ecosystem through capability building, mentor development and community building.

Representing NYC, Marcus Lee, Director — Special Projects & Partnership Lab, shared how the movement’s next chapter will support the ambitions of the SG Youth Plan and expand access to mentoring opportunities for more young Singaporeans.

We also unveiled the vision for Voices Of Asia, which will continue supporting the movement while expanding regional collaboration to advance mentoring across Asia.

As we enter this next chapter, we look forward to continuing this journey with our partners and community to ensure more young Singaporeans can benefit from the power of mentoring.

The ISPE APAC Pharma Talent & Discovery Summit 2026 is bringing together students, emerging leaders, and pharmaceutical professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region for a day of learning, mentorship, and industry engagement.

We're inviting experienced professionals to join as Mentors to help inspire and guide the next generation of talent entering the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. Mentors will have the opportunity to:

They often say the first conversation is the hardest. The students at the Level Up Leaders Mentoring Programme proved otherwise.

Bringing together the top Year 2 and Year 3 students from the School of Business of , the kick-off session was already buzzing before the programme officially began. Through a fun networking activity designed by the school, students stepped out of their comfort zones, approached mentors with bingo cards in hand, and turned introductions into meaningful conversations.

We were genuinely impressed by their eagerness to connect. Even after the session, many took to LinkedIn to share what they had gained from their very first . It was a heartwarming reminder of how one conversation can open up new perspectives.

Over the next few months, these mentor-mentee pairs will continue building meaningful relationships, developing their leadership potential, and gaining the confidence, perspectives, and skills to make an impact both in school and beyond.

Here's to many more moments ahead. 💙
