About Us:
好人好事 Hao Ren Hao Shi (HRHS)
HRHS is a non-profit organization in Singapore wholly managed and supported by a group of passionate volunteers brought together by our founder, Anson Ng since April 2018. With the heart to continue lending a helping hand to others, he donated and cooked for non-profitable organizations such as Willing Hearts and HCA Hospice Care to provide comfort meals for their occupants. Being aware of Anson’s contributions, more friends joined him in his social cause. And through the spirit of volunteerism, 好人好事 Hao Ren Hao Shi (HRHS) was established in April 2018 when HRHS collaborated with Apex Club of Singapore to take on groceries distribution to the needy families at Redhill. HRHS is currently distributing provisions to more than 1000 families in Singapore. The beneficiaries include needy families with young students under the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS); low-income families including those under the Public Assistance (PA) Scheme, care corners and religious organizations; the vulnerable seniors and those who live alone or who are immobile; terminally ill patients; persons with disabilities; senior citizens at day activity centres; migrant workers at the dormitories, etc. In addition to the regular monthly provisions comprising of food staples (such as rice, bread, eggs, canned food and perishables like fruits), various essential supplies, household and healthcare items; HRHS is supporting patients-in-need from the hospice care with monthly supplies of consumables (such as adult diapers, adult body wipes, nutritional feeds, etc). Our social mission to serve the needy in our community is made possible only because of the strong support of our generous donors, sponsors and volunteers.
