We were honoured to have our CEO, Timothy Liu, invited as one of the panellists at Asia Tech x Singapore – ATxEnterprise segment, “Digital Inclusion in Aging Societies: Bridging the HealthTech Gap.”

Discussions focused on overcoming barriers to technology adoption among older adults, designing accessible interfaces, training caregivers, as well as ensuring inclusive and accessible healthcare services.

Timothy proposed a 6 domain framework that asked pertinent questions usually missed by developers and adopters to overcome level of acceptability and adoption by seniors relating to accessibility, meaningfulness, emotional readiness, relational support, workflow integration and equity & inclusion. He also shared that different areas of healthcare such as clinical care, personal care, operations and patient / resident engagements have different focus when considering applications of technology within the healthcare setting.

At SAS, we recognise that digital transformation in healthcare must go hand in hand with compassion, accessibility, and dignity. As we continue to care for our residents, many of whom are elderly and vulnerable, conversations like these are important in shaping a future where technology supports better care outcomes without widening the gap for those who need support the most.

Last Saturday, our Board members and Executive team gathered for a meaningful strategic planning retreat, led by our CEO, Mr Timothy Liu.

It was a fruitful session with many good exchanges of ideas, open sharing and personal reflections about SAS. More importantly, it was a time for us to come together, reflect on our shared purpose, and think about how we can continue to provide better care for our residents.

We are thankful for the commitment and heart from everyone who attended. Together, we look forward to creating more possibilities and achieving greater care for the residents we look after.

With a shared vision and teamwork, we hope to continue making SAS a place of care, comfort and dignity for our residents.

This week, our executive team had the privilege of visiting Sree Narayana Mission Home @ Riverwalk St Joseph's Home, Catholic Welfare Services Sg for a site tour and learning exchange.

It was a meaningful and insightful visit, where we heard from the teams about their operations and the heart behind how they continue to build homes with passion, care, and dignity for the aged.

As we move towards a super-aged society, it is important for service providers like us to continue learning from one another and doing our best to achieve better outcomes for our residents.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mr S. Devendran and his team from Sree Narayana Mission Home and Ms Ivy Lim and her team from St Joseph’s Home for your warm hospitality and generous sharing.

Every year on May 5, we commemorate with an event dedicated to raising awareness and highlighting the importance of hand hygiene practices, particularly within our nursing home.

🫲This Action Saves Lives!🫱
Preventing the spread of harmful germs not only safeguards our residents during their care but also protects our staff, enabling them to provide care without compromising their own health.

The event featured interactive booths, engaging contests, and fun games that made learning about an enjoyable experience.

A big congratulations to:
🏆 M3 for winning the Hand Hygiene poster contest!
🏆 Rehab team for the best booth!
🏆 Tower block for the best performance!
