What an incredible morning of growth at the TLCS Bilingual Toastmasters Club! We gathered at the National Library @ Bugis to explore the powerful theme of Emancipation.

💡 Workshop Spotlight: "Beyond Praise"
The heart of our meeting was a transformative educational workshop titled "Beyond Praise: Evaluations That Inspire." Led by the experienced Ramkumar Santanam, DTM, this session was a deep dive into the art of impactful feedback.

Key highlights from the workshop included:

Elevating Evaluation Skills: Learning how to move past generic compliments to provide feedback that truly elevates a speaker's performance.

Inspiring Growth: Discovering techniques to motivate fellow members through constructive, high-value insights.

Actionable Feedback: Understanding how to deliver feedback that serves as a roadmap for a speaker's next level of excellence.

🎤 Meeting Highlights
Beyond the workshop, the energy was high with several standout segments:

Table Topics: TM Thirugnanam Kaneshalingam challenged our quick thinking with an engaging impromptu session.

Prepared Speeches: We witnessed powerful presentations from TM Prakash (Dynamic Leadership), TM Thirugnanam Kaneshalingam, and a warm welcome to TM Pugazhenthi for delivering an excellent Ice Breaker!

Evaluation in Action: Our evaluators, TM Do Yun Jung, TM Jillian, and TM Manickavasagam, immediately put our workshop lessons to the test with insightful feedback.

✨ Alpha & Omega – TLCS Bilingual Toastmasters Meeting ✨

Our Alpha & Omega meeting concluded successfully with a highly engaging and thought-provoking panel discussion, inspiring prepared speeches, and constructive evaluations. The session truly reflected the spirit of leadership, learning, and growth.

We were deeply honored by the presence of District Director Sharon Kam, our Division Director Kethrabalan Mookandi, and our esteemed Division T Advisory Committee members DTM. Harikrishnan Muthusamy, DTM Yeo Chai Tun, DTM Vasandam Raju and Area Director Champaka valli murari. Their insights, encouragement, and guidance added immense value to the meeting and elevated the quality of the discussions.

A heartfelt thank you to all speakers, evaluators, role players, and members for making this meeting impactful and memorable. Together, we continue our journey — from Alpha to Omega.

On 6 July 2025, the Executive Committee Installation Ceremony for all clubs under Region 80, District T was held with great distinction at the National Library.
In this event, the installation ceremony for the Executive Committee members of all clubs was conducted in a grand manner under the leadership of the respective Area Directors.
For our Tamil Language and Cultural Association – Bilingual Speakers Club, the Executive Committee members assumed their responsibilities under the leadership of our District T1 Director, TM Champagavalli Murari.
Heartfelt congratulations to all 💐💐💐
The newly appointed Club President, TM Lakshmi Chockalingam, expressed her gratitude to the immediate past President TM Srivatsan, extended her best wishes to the new Executive Committee members for the year, and affirmed her commitment to taking our club to the next level with everyone’s cooperation 💪💪💪.
Also, the President of the Tamil Language and Cultural Association, former Regional Director, and District T Advisor, DTM Harikrishnan Muthusamy, along with District T Advisors DTM Yeo Chai Tun and Vasantham Raju, delivered congratulatory addresses 💐💐💐👍👍👍.
