Welcome to K9Assistance (Ltd), a charity organisation whose activities centre around Assistance Dogs for Persons with Disabilities.

We offer educational talks, hands-on experiential workshops, consultation & matching of Assistance Dogs with PwDs.

It is our ! We warmly welcome The Standard, Singapore, as our newest Assistance Dog Friendly Business.

Nestled along Orange Grove Road, just moments from Orchard Road and the UNESCO-listed Singapore Botanic Gardens, The Standard, Singapore is a 143-room award-winning design hotel known for its distinctive hospitality and guest experience.

Great hospitality goes beyond exceptional service. It means ensuring every guest feels seen, respected and included. As part of its commitment to accessibility, The Standard, Singapore also partnered with K9Assistance in June to equip its frontline team with the knowledge to better support Assistance Dog handlers.
By actively engaging in the briefing and equipping its frontline team with practical knowledge, The Standard is helping ensure Assistance Dog handlers receive the same warm welcome as every other guest.

A little throwback to our engagement session at SMRT Train Awards 2026 last month! Thank you to all award recipients who attentively learned more about K9Assistance and our work in the community.

All staff members understood the importance of not petting, not feeding, and not distracting an Assistance Dog at all times. Thank you once again to the planning team for having us over to share more about creating supportive public transport spaces for handlers.

Situated in the heart of Orchard, Café Blossom is a cosy dog-friendly café that brings people, families and their furry companions together over affordable local fusion favourites.

As she embarks on her entrepreneurial journey, owner Val hopes to create a welcoming space where everyone can gather and truly connect. By becoming an Assistance Dog Friendly Business, Café Blossom is helping make everyday experiences fulfilling for Assistance Dog handlers.

We are grateful to Café Blossom for embracing accessibility for Assistance Dog teams in their space. Their support demonstrates how businesses of every size can play a meaningful role in building a Singapore where everyone feels welcomed and understood.

International Assistance Dog Week is recognised during the first week of August, a time to celebrate the incredible partnership between Assistance Dogs and their handlers. Assistance Dogs are highly trained to conduct specialised tasks that support persons with varying disabilities to live with greater independence, confidence and safety.

At K9Assistance, we're committed to building greater awareness and acceptance of Assistance Dogs in Singapore. Through education, advocacy and community partnerships, we hope to build a Singapore where every Assistance Dog team feels welcomed and respected.

What an energetic and meaningful morning! 💙🐾

Thank you to everyone who joined us this Sunday morning at K9 EmPAWer Walk 2026. Your presence at East Coast Park today meant more than just taking a walk. It was a powerful show of support for building a more accessible and welcoming Singapore, where Assistance Dogs and their handlers can participate fully in everyday life.

We thank our Guest of Honour, MOS Alvin Tan, Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Ministry of National Development for the support and for gracing our event.

A huge appreciation to all our sponsors, volunteers, partners, and every participant who made today possible.

And just like that, we're only 3 days away from K9 EmPAWer Walk 2026! 🐾💜 The countdown has officially begun, and we hope you're just as excited as we are to make an impact, meet new faces, and champion greater awareness and support for the different types of Assistance Dogs.
