✨ Haj Send-Off 2026 @ Geylang Serai ✨

We were honoured to have this intimate Haj Send-Off session graced by Assoc. Prof. Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs. A small and close-knit gathering — but one filled with meaning, sincerity, and heartfelt exchanges.

Together with a group of pilgrims and their families at Masjid Wak Tanjong, we came together for a simple yet meaningful send-off. The session was centered on — the heart, mind, spiritual and physical readiness.

Chairman M3@Geylang Serai shared on the importance of recognising that Haj is both a spiritual calling and a journey of readiness:
🕌 “Persiapan jasmani adalah sama penting dengan persiapan rohani. We should not see physical and spiritual preparations as distinctly two decoupled items, but rather as two mutually complementing of one another to bring you towards Ibadah with greater khusyuk.”

We were also blessed with a meaningful tazkirah by Ustaz Ridzwan Manap, who reminded us:
🕊️ “Kerisauan yang kite ade, adalah benda yang tidak ade pengakhirannye. Sedangkan kite boleh pilih untuk aman daripada terus memikirkan perkara yang belum pasti. Amalkan dengan ketentuan Tuhan and amalkan dengan keredhanNya - sebab itu lebih memudahkan urusan perjalanan.”

In his closing, Mosque Chairman Nailul Hafiz shared a powerful reflection:
🤲 “Persiapan perlu A-class, usaha and hati kita perlu ikhlas. At the end of the day, we are at the mercy of Allah swt.”

What made the session special was its warmth — the quiet conversations, the smiles, and the strong sense that this is a shared journey as a community.

As our pilgrims prepare to embark on this sacred path, we send them off with our doa:
🌙 May every step be eased
🌙 May every effort be accepted
🌙 May Allah grant all our pilgrims Haj Mabrur

Our Steering Committee Meeting at Wisma Geylang Serai concluded on a meaningful and uplifting note this week. We were honoured to have Faishal Ibrahim, Advisor to M³@Geylang Serai, with us as we exchanged ideas, strengthened partnerships 🤝, and aligned the shared vision for the community we serve.

Key lines of effort were shared, including the operationalising the M³+ Roadmap - placing deeper emphasis on collaboration across MMOs, IMOs and with our valued community partners. Chairman emphasised the importance of inclusivity - of walking this journey together, and drawing strength from one another.

Members were also introduced to two impactful flagship initiatives:

📘 Raikan Ilmu - empowering individuals to discover new passions, build skills, and unlock future opportunities.

💚 Kasih Keluarga, Sihat Bersama (KKSB) - a national movement towards healthier, stronger families through meaningful and engaging community experiences.

⌨️ Langkah Digital - scaffolding of workshops for Core group and Residents on the AI drive to better enhance assess, adoption and AI!

A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of Letters of Appointment to our Steering Committee members - a reflection of the trust placed in each of them to lead and serve. We also honoured Mdm Rohaidah and Mrs Seri with appreciation plaques, recognising their unwavering dedication and contributions to the community.

With every step forward, we carry not just plans - but purpose. Not just responsibility - but heart ❤️

💡✨ PROJECT LIGHTBULB OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED ON 17 MARCH! ✨💡

On 17 March 2026, Project Lightbulb — a youth tutoring initiative dedicated to empowering youths in our community 🌟 — officially launched its third edition since its inception in 2023. The syllabus is designed to strengthen academic focus 📚 while nurturing life skills, values, and confidence in our youths 💪✨

This year, the calendar has been thoughtfully structured to balance:
📖 academic classroom sessions,
🎉 key celebrations such as Youth Day and Teachers’ Day, and
🌿 an outdoor learning journey during the school holidays.
🌱 Learning Journey at City Sprouts on 13 June 🌿

Our youths and their families will step beyond the classroom into a hands-on learning environment — discovering sustainability, growth, confidence, and the importance of family bonding 🌍🌾

Because Project Lightbulb is not just about studies.
It is about lighting the path forward 💡
building character 🤍
and growing together as a community 🌟

This meaningful milestone would not have been possible without the strong collaboration and support of:

In this blessed month of Ramadan, as we reflect on compassion and generosity, may we remember our brothers and sisters in Gaza and continue to support them in any way we can.

RLAF, in collaboration with UNICEF and the Egyptian Red Crescent launched the Aid for Gaza 2026, a fundraising campaign running from 8 January to 31 March 2026 to support early recovery and rehabilitation efforts in Gaza.

All funds raised will be channelled through UNICEF and the Egyptian Red Crescent to help restore essential services, including access to healthcare, psychosocial support, shelters, and community kitchens. This initiative is widely supported by M³@GS and we seek your support in this blessed Ramadan.
