This is Pancake. Pancake has Attitude. See? Her silly fosterer gave her too many pats and flattened her beautiful head, and then had the audacity to name her Pancake. Bah! Thank goodness her fosterer had some sense to decide that her nickname would be Penelope, or Penny for her nickname’s nickname. Nickname for her nickname? Who even does that?

Penny tells you what she wants (or what she doesn’t want). She doesn’t like boys. Bah! She’s a girl’s girl. Penny has Thoughts. Penny will tell you if you’re too smelly (she’ll nibble you) or if she wants to go home after being taken out (she’ll nibble you). Penny has sass.

(Note from fosterers: Penny is easily bribed with sunflower and pumpkin seeds. She loves food. This hamster can be bought over.)

This is Tamago- shy on the outside, nosy on the inside. He’s all for cuddles, just don’t you dare pick him up. Long-haired Syrian problems: coat maintenance is mandatory, so bedding day happens whether he likes it or not (he does not). Cue the grudge era, solvable only with an emergency egg melt bribe. By night he turns into a full-time wheel athlete, no rest days.

Meet the Unglam Hamily of 9🐹
SuiSui was surrendered to us at the end of July. 2 days later, while the fosterer was doing her usual morning checking routine, she spotted “peanuts”. N just like that, SuiSui got upgraded to a mum&the caregiver became a granny of 8 bb

But these bb didn’t exactly come with the most glamorous personalities. They started displaying all sorts of unglam actions & those unglam moments became their names

SuiSui&her bb r growing up well. They r generally easygoing when it comes to food&treats. As they r still young&growing, do offer them a good variety of foods to support their growth

Do understand that they can be shy becoz they are still figuring out what this big world is all about. Sometimes they may accept some gentle patpats on their backs, sometimes they will suddenly put themselves into reverse gear n “gostan” away from u

Melbem is a delightfully chunky hamster with a super-chill personality. He allows himself to be handled calmly and always looks permanently unbothered by everything happening around him. As long as treats are involved, this contented little fatty is happy with life.

Oignon, which means onion in French, is a survivor. he came from a home that housed him together with his siblings and he was bullied severely. When he came to us, he was terrified, in pain and was full of battle scars. With some love and treatment, his scars dropped off, his skin healed and his fur grew back. He no longer screamed or tried to bite when he was picked up. Instead, he shed his outer layer and turned into a chonky cuddlepuff who loves his food and occasional massages. Oignon has come a long way and is looking for a forever home to put down his roots.
