[📶 Mapping Network Connectivity Feedback Across Tengah]
As a brand-new town, many aspects of Tengah are still being built up and refined as more residents move in.
Over the past year, residents have shared feedback about pockets of weak mobile connectivity in certain parts of the town. Since these concerns were first raised, we have been working with residents to identify where these connectivity gaps occur and better understand the areas affected.
At the outset, this work was carried out together with a small group of resident volunteers. As Residents’ Networks have been formed across several precincts, with more in the process of being established, our RN volunteers are now able to focus on the precincts where they live and serve. This has enabled feedback collection and mapping to be carried out in a more systematic and comprehensive manner.
Their observations have been consolidated into detailed maps highlighting recurring connectivity blind spots across different precincts.
Our next step will be to conduct targeted site visits together with the RN teams, using these maps to guide on-the-ground verification of the identified locations. This will allow us to focus our efforts on the areas of greatest concern as we continue working towards improving connectivity for residents.
Thank you to all our volunteers and RN members who have spent many hours gathering feedback and walking the ground with me. Your efforts are helping us build a better Tengah together. 🙏🏻😇
