Last month, we conducted our FIRST Invasive Species Management (ISM) session at Rifle Range Nature Park! Our members, alongside 13 energetic and enthusiastic volunteers, worked tirelessly, removing a total of 14kg of small bulbils and 8.5kg of big tubers!

This is part of a planned effort with .bukit.timah.forest where we will aim to eradicate the invasive Zanzibar Yam (Dioscorea sansibarensis) through monthly sessions.

Earlier this month, NUS SAVE Biodiversity joined an Invasive Species Management (ISM) session organised by Friends of Bukit Timah Forest .bukit.timah.forest at Rifle Range Nature Park. Together with FoBTF and members of public, we removed a total of 85 kilograms of Zanzibar Yam (Dioscorea sansibarensis)! We would like to thank Wei Yuan from FoBTF for organising and inviting us for this event. Looking forward to more ISM sessions in the future!
