What happens when you mix vocal coaching, youth volunteers, and TikTok?

You get seniors dancing their way into the spotlight and becoming confident digital creators! 🌟

Empower Ageing's recent collaboration with The WoW Movement on their incredible Sing, Shine, Share initiative brought seniors through a meaningful experience that blended creative expression with digital inclusion. Guided by passionate youth volunteers, our seniors created TikTok accounts, and learned how to navigate the platform.

Armed with new vocal skills and fresh makeovers, these seniors sang their hearts out for their TikTok debut. The room was buzzing with pure energy, confidence, and joy.

Initiatives like this not only bridge the intergenerational gap, but also empower our seniors to embrace modern digital tools, and promote connected, joyful ageing within our community. 💖

A heartfelt thank you to The WoW Movement team, the wonderful youth volunteers, and everyone who helped turn our seniors into confident creators and TikTok stars! 🌟

GO FOR YOUR MOUNTAIN 2026🗻

Ain't no mountain high enough. A climb where every step, and every generation, matters.

This year marks 10 years of Empower Ageing, and we're celebrating with something we've never done before — bringing seniors, youth, and volunteers together for a morning walk up Mount Faber.

The route takes you through Telok Blangah Hill Park, across Henderson Waves, and ends at Faber Point. It's built around four things we care about: Movement, Memory, Meaning, and Music.💪

Our recent seniors' gathering was absolutely buzzing with energy! From interactive games to creative crafts, the room was filled with laughter and smiles. 😊✨

A massive thank you to the wonderful student volunteers from NUS NVAC for spending their afternoon with our residents. Your kindness brought so much warmth to the community! 💕
