This Children’s Day, a little art came with a lot of heart. 🎨💛

More than 680 staff, parents and children from Sunflower Childcare Group came together to pack and deliver 700 specially curated arts and crafts packs for KidSTART families.

Through Art from the Heart, KidSTART children can get creative at home while enjoying meaningful moments of play and bonding with their families.

A heartfelt thank you to the community for once again sharing your time, care and creativity with our KidSTART families this Children’s Day! 🌻

What’s one memory of your child that you’ll never forget? 💛

We asked KidSTART parents and volunteers, and their answers had us smiling. From the funny things their little ones say to the moments that caught them completely off guard, it’s often the little things that stay with us the longest. 🥹

To all the little ones who make our days a little louder, messier and so much brighter — Happy Children’s Day! 🌈

What a year it has been! ❤️

From supporting families through pregnancy and the early years, to strengthening our partnerships and reaching families across Singapore, every number represents a child, parent or caregiver we’ve had the privilege of journeying alongside.

Since KidSTART first began as a pilot programme 10 years ago, we have supported more than 12,500 children and families, and we’re continuing to learn, grow and deepen our support for families.

None of this would be possible without our families, practitioners, partners and supporters. Thank you for being part of our journey towards giving every child a good start in life.

✨ Swipe through to read the highlights and head on to our website at https://kidstart.sg/annual-report-and-policies/ to read the full report!

When we show our children that we believe in their ability to try, learn and grow, we help build their confidence to keep going.

Sometimes, they don't need us to have all the answers. They simply need our encouragement and to know that we believe in them. 💛

Pregnancy and caring for a new baby can bring lots of changes and some days may feel harder than others. 💜

Remember to give yourself time, celebrate the small wins and reach out when you need support. Taking care of your mental wellbeing matters for you and your baby.

If you're eligible for KidSTART, we're here to journey with you from pregnancy and through the early years. Find out more at www.kidstart.sg.

Some of the best learning moments don't need extra time. They're already built into your day. 🧺🌱

Folding laundry, caring for plants or tidying up together can become opportunities to talk, count, sort and learn - all while getting things done!

At KidSTART, we support families through the early years with practical guidance tailored to their needs, including ways to make everyday moments count for their child's learning and development. 💛

What everyday activity will you try together?

Annyeonghaseyo! 👋

We recently welcomed 18 delegates from the Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare (KOHI), including child protection officers and case managers from DreamStart.

They joined us to learn more about how the KidSTART programme, supports families through home visits and coordinated support across agencies. We also enjoyed hearing from Mr Jung Jin K*k, General Manager of the Training Program at KOHI, who shared more about KOHI and DreamStart.

Thank you for visiting us!! We hope you had a meaningful time in Singapore!
