The Book of Revelation has been the cause of controversy among sincere believers. The tendency is to see the Book as predicting future events, as a form of 'Christian fortune telling'. Revelation is more meant to be a Christ centred Book, being The Revelation of Jesus Christ (1:1). Yet this study will not neglect the interpretation of history as found in the Book. There will be time for discussion, with respect for differing opinions about Revelation.

The 8 modules are designed to enable participants to understand the essence of mentoring, develop essential skills, and thoughtfully support mentee development. Participants will learn to mentor with confidence through a clear process that reduces ambiguity and maximises spiritual and professional fruitfulness.

This programme is suitable for new and existing mentors, those aspiring or exploring the possibility of becoming mentors, and anyone curious to know more about the mentoring journey.

He wasn’t a famous apostle. He didn’t write a book of the Bible or have a dramatic conversion (at least, that we know of). But Barnabas serves as a model for us.

Why? Because Barnabas was a catalyst.

In this series, we will look at specific ways God used him to encourage others by both his words and actions, whether he was focusing on one person at a time or a group of people. In four sessions, we will see this servant of God: Pursuing Purpose, Meeting Needs, Nurturing Faith, Developing Potential.

Barnabas’ steady faithfulness in using his gifts for God’s kingdom was vital in the lives of believers throughout history. In Catalyst, we will learn that like Barnabas, we can change the world, one small act at a time.

As people move through different stages of life, they often become more reflective about faith, purpose, and God’s presence. Mid-life may bring renewed awareness and reassessment of priorities, while later life offers perspective to recognise patterns of grace and growth. Spiritual direction encourages deeper listening to God through everyday experiences, reflection, and Scripture.

In this programme, the parables of Jesus serve as a guide for exploring faith, compassion, and wisdom. Through conversation, lectio divina, journalling, prayer, and reflection, participants are invited to revisit their own stories, notice God’s work in their lives, and grow spiritually in a gentle and supportive space.
