We invite you to an exploration of the intricate interplay between early life experiences and adult mental wellness. Through this workshop, we will unravel the profound impact of childhood family dysfunction and traumatic events such as abuse and neglect, shedding light on their enduring effects well into adulthood. Drawing upon robust research findings and compelling case studies, attendees will gain insights into the underlying mechanisms that link childhood trauma to heightened susceptibility to emotional, behavioural, and social challenges in later life.

As people move through different stages of life, they often become more reflective about faith, purpose, and God’s presence. Mid-life may bring renewed awareness and reassessment of priorities, while later life offers perspective to recognise patterns of grace and growth. Spiritual direction encourages deeper listening to God through everyday experiences, reflection, and Scripture.

In this programme, the parables of Jesus serve as a guide for exploring faith, compassion, and wisdom. Through conversation, lectio divina, journalling, prayer, and reflection, participants are invited to revisit their own stories, notice God’s work in their lives, and grow spiritually in a gentle and supportive space.
