The fabulous Melissa Sidek opens her home to celebrate with a special group of friends and new friends in this My Home Your Home party. Inspired by the fun and love of the parties she has attended and where she has also been our indomitable host, doing what she does beautifully, singing, playing games and rocking the home with her infectious laughter, big voice and heart, we are awesomely chuffed to present this video, Melissa’s Birthday Melissa cooked Nasi Kerabu, blue rice, with ayam masak lemak, and various delicious condiments to go with. Chef Chris did his Malaysian-style Rendang Tok. Rasa sayang hey!🥰

MHYH Bicentennial Party
90 friends make a home of happy revelers. Grand food! music! games! so much fun in a gorgeous heritage home – the biggest of My Home Your Home parties when we celebrate Singapore’s bicentennial year. Chefs Chris Choo, Sharon De Mello and Isabelle Hoeden, cook up “island food” from Jamaica, Singapore, Kerala, Hawaii and Sri Lanka, to rejoice in our cosmopolitanism. We had a fabulous time with performances from Hula dance (Laniakea Culture Collective) to Kathak (Guru Afsar Khan), and beautiful vocals by Nina Lestari, Azmi Ithnin, Melissa Sidek, Trevor Nerva, Edwin Rio, with Kyle Ravin as The People’s Emcee. Glorious cakes from Wimbly Lu, drinks and snacks from Frosts Food, Gorgeous table setting, plates and cutlery by Talking Tables and Party people, Relish.Sg. Be inspired! Relish the good times with friends, in the lyrics of John Klass, “..home is where the heart is, let me give you a piece of my heart”! See you at our next one!
