Our foster families across all fostering agencies came together to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival last Friday at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre! ✨

Lanterns lit, mooncakes shared, laughter echoing as our foster families gathered not just as individual families, but as one community.

At Gracehaven Fostering, we organise events to provide opportunities for foster families to connect, celebrate, and create meaningful memories together. Stay tuned to this space for our upcoming events! 🗓️

As we celebrate , we are reminded that fostering is never a journey walked alone🫶🏻

At our final support group of the year, we focused on supporting children with higher needs. We were grateful to have two pairs of foster parents share their experiences and expertise with fellow foster parents. ✨

FPs Eng Jiuan and Eng Leong, who have been fostering since 2015, shared their journey of caring for their foster child since 18 months old, now 12 years old! Their journey is one of love, resilience and family teamwork 🏠❤️

FPs Eileen and Liguang, who began fostering in 2025, also shared their experiences, with Eileen drawing on her years of experience as a SPED educator to offer insights and practical knowledge to fellow foster parents caring for children with higher needs 🌈

From years of fostering experience to professional expertise, our foster parents bring different strengths and experiences that can support and uplift one another 🤝

This is what a fostering community looks like — coming together, learning from one another and walking the journey together. 💛

Gracehaven Fostering holds regular support groups to provide a safe space for foster parents to connect, share experiences, learn from one another and encourage each other. Because no one should have to walk the fostering journey alone. 🫶🏻

As we celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday with this year’s National Day theme, “Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!”, we also celebrate our foster parents and volunteers who go beyond to care, support and make a difference in the lives of children and youth in need.

Meet foster parents Mdm Anitha and Mr Sivachandran, who will be representing the fostering community at this year’s National Day Parade! 🎉

For over 22 years, Mdm Anitha and Mr Sivachandran have opened their hearts and home to more than 20 children, walking alongside each child and giving them a safe and loving place to grow. 🏠❤️
