📚 Get ready for the 2027 school year with the School Starter Kit @ Central! 🎒

Eligible Primary and Secondary school students can receive bookstore vouchers and gifts:
✏️ Primary School: $120
✏️ Secondary School: $200

✅ Who can apply:

Singaporean students in primary or secondary school in 2027
Living in the Central Singapore District
Monthly gross household income of $4,000 and below, OR per capita gross income of $1,000 and below

📝 How to apply: Submit your application in person at Fernvale CC, 10am – 6pm daily (except Public Holidays).

📌 Please bring:

The original birth certificate or NRIC of the applicant and all family members
Latest monthly payslips of ALL working household members, OR the past 12 months’ CPF contribution history

The worsening haze is affecting all of us, so please take care of yourself and those around you.

We are distributing N95 and equivalent masks to vulnerable Singaporeans, and making air-conditioned shelters available at Community Clubs and selected Residents’ Network and Residents’ Committee centres. We will ensure that support is available to those who need it.

The haze stems from forest and peatland fires in Indonesia, made worse by the extended dry period. We have offered our assistance to Indonesia, and will continue working closely with them and our ASEAN partners to address the issue.

At the same time, we are looking into which companies may be responsible for the fires. Where warranted, we will take action under Singapore’s Transboundary Haze Pollution Act, and also explore joint action with other countries.

We cannot control the weather or the winds, nor can we directly control what happens beyond our borders. But we will do everything we can to protect Singaporeans, while working with our neighbours to address the underlying causes of the haze.

Masks are available for eligible Singaporean residents, including persons with medical conditions, pregnant women, children aged 7 to 16, and holders of eligible assistance scheme cards. Please bring along your NRIC during collection. A family member or friend may collect on the eligible person's behalf using their NRIC.

PA will continue to monitor the situation and support our residents. In the meantime, minimise strenuous outdoor activity where possible and look out for one another.
