On the 4th of February, 2026, our Venture and Rovers were given the opportunity to visit the Singapore Airshow 2026 during the trade days. Special thanks to Major-General Kelvin Fan, Chief of RSAF, for taking the time to have a quick chat with us. Our VnRs also had the opportunity to take a look at the various internal trade exhibits, try their hands on the simulators, as well as watched the aerial display.

On the 30th of August, 2025, our cubs and scouts made a visit to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery at Marina barrage, where they learned about the Marina Barrage, climate change, and what Singapore is doing to improve water security, sewerage and transitioning to a more sustainable nation!

23/06/2025

On 20th June, Ventures from both Soaring Eagles (Ventures) and came together for a day out to Lazarus and St John's Island. They spent the day covering basic navigation skills like finding and shooting bearings both in person and on a map using a map protractor, baseplate compass and lensatic compass. They also learnt about making unconventional fire starters and had some fire starting practice. They then ended the day with a badge presentation and handover ceremony, before running for the ferry back. All in all it was a great time of bonding and learning with each other, enjoying nature and having a break from their busy schedules.

On the 12th of April, 2025, our SE cubs and scouts took part in a tree planting event at Crescent Cove Park in collaboration with Bishan CC. Despite the hot and sunny weather, they persevered on and got their hands dirty planting their trees. Some of our cubs and scouts also had the opportunity to interact with Mr Chong Kee Hiong, MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC (Bishan East-Sin Ming) who was present at the event.

On the 29th of September, 2024, our SE cubs had the opportunity to visit the Singapore Maritime Gallery, where they learnt much about the history and importance of the maritime sector to Singapore. They also had the opportunity to ride aboard a ferry to tour the Southern Islands. Special thanks to them for having us!

On the 24th of August, 2024, SE's cubs, alongside cubs from Colugo Scout Group as well as Peregrine Scout Group, made a visit to the Central Fire Station, where they learned much about the operations of the SCDF, as well as the history of firefighting in Singapore. Following that, the cubs from SE and Peregrine Scout group embarked on their Track and Trail activity on Fort Canning Hill.

On the morning of the 20th of July, 2024, SE held an Investiture and Stepping up ceremony to invest our 2 new cubs and 1 new scout into the unit. At the same time, 2 of our scouts were stepped up to ventures and another 2 ventures were stepped up to Rovers. Let us all warmly welcome our new members and also congratulations to those who were stepped up!

On the 26th of July, our Soaring Eagles Cubs took part in a beach cleanup at Pasir Ris Park. It was a great learning experience for the Cubs, as it was also their first time taking part in a clean up as a unit. Despite the rain, they remained enthusiastic and continued to do their best. Well done Cubs!
