One school. One idea. A whole lot of heart. 💛🌟

Introducing the inaugural Friends of NOTU Award - celebrating partners who go above and beyond to turn kindness into action.

And our very first Friend? Bartley Secondary School 🫶

Through the Stars of Love project, student leaders from Bartley Secondary School rallied their peers to fold stars for deceased organ donor families, in honour of our deceased organ donors, transforming a simple act of kindness into a school-wide movement.

A meaningful moment, made even more special with Singa, the icon of kindness, co-presenting the award. 🦁✨

[Live on Festival 2026 Awards Ceremony]

Privileged to attend the Live On Festival 2026 Awards Ceremony where we celebrated bold and perceptive young minds who engaged with the important conversation of organ donation.

What moved me was seeing how our youths approached this topic with such empathy, creativity and courage through creative design and writing.

They challenge all of us to step out of our own experiences to take on different perspectives on such a delicate topic. I urged them to keep these conversation going — at home, at school, and with the people around them — and continue to make a difference.

Congratulations to all winners! And a big thank you to the National Organ Transplant Unit for creating this meaningful platform year after year. 💚
