On behalf of AVLIAS, a heartfelt thank you to all our members and special guests for joining us at the AVLIAS Pre-CNY Get-Together Celebration. It was a wonderful evening filled with great company, a beautiful venue, delicious food and beverages, an energetic Lion Dance performance, and most memorably, the Lo Hei - where excitement, laughter, and joy were shared across every table.

Special Note on:

-VENUE-
It is always a challenge to secure the right date and venue, especially one that fits our budget for our Pre CNY celebration. Above all, we must juggle our schedule with those members travelling to ISE, Barcelona alongside the CNY festive period itself.

Our special thanks Moon Rooftop Bar and Lounge for accommodating our preferred date and budget. The services staff was extremely helpful, and the service throughout the evening was excellent, contributing greatly to a memorable celebration.

-LION DANCE-
A Lion Dance performance is a must-have to kick-start the celebration with a big bang. However, it often comes with stringent requirements, as the selected troupe must adapt their exciting performance to tight spaces, lower ceilings, and low-hanging lights.

With selected venues located within the CBD, sound levels also need to be carefully managed to avoid disturbance or complaints from nearby offices and residential tenants. We truly appreciate the professionalism and adaptability of the Lion Dance troupe in delivering an exciting performance under these constraints.

-YU SHENG-
Yu Sheng / Lo Hei is the key element of our celebration, where everyone truly gets hand-on and enjoys the moment together. It is often the highlight of the evening, bringing energy, laughter, and shared excitement across the table.

Each year, sourcing a reliable supplier who can provide quality Yu Sheng well ahead of the CNY period is particularly challenging!! Beyond cost considerations, we are also mindful of the packaging and ingredients that go into the Treasure Pot, while ensuring that the Yu Sheng remains HALAL-certified so that everyone can participate and enjoy the experience with confidence. -PARTICIPANTS-
While we experienced the usual 5% drop in our registrants, the overall number of participants has clearly increased over the years. This reflects our continued efforts in bringing people together and creating celebrations that truly make an impact.

To all members and special guests, your presence made the celebration truly meaningful as we welcomed the new year together. Wishing everyone prosperity, good health, and continued success ahead! 🧧🐎✨

Just wrapped up our video promo shoot about the SAVERS Consortium @ PIFA2025 - and what an amazing experience it was working with the team at Spring Forest Studio Pte Ltd!

From the moment we arrived, their professionalism, technical expertise, and creative insight stood out. The crew knew exactly how to bring our story to life — from lighting and sound to camera angles and delivery.

What I truly appreciated was how the production team helped refine and reimagine parts of our script. Their suggestions made the message flow naturally and turned it into a more dynamic, engaging presentation — perfectly setting the tone for what SAVERS (Singapore AudioVisual and Event Rental Specialists) represents at PIFA2025.

The local AVL rental industry is experiencing growing competition from foreign AVL rental and event mgt services companies (non-registered), many are bringing in their own audiovisual equipment and creative talents to secure projects at a much lower cost quotation.

This trend is putting pressure on local AVL rental businesses — affecting project sustainability, fair competition, and worsening manpower shortages.
