Today, we’re stepping into the architectural wonder of The Hive 🐝, also known as the Learning Hub, located in the heart of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore! 🏛️✨ This award-winning building is an architectural marvel, with its 12 dim sum basket towers, designed to foster creativity and collaboration.

The Hive was built to be eco-friendly 🌿, featuring natural ventilation and recycled building materials, making it both stunning and sustainable! ♻️💡

Its open spaces and communal learning areas create a dynamic environment for students and visitors alike. The building’s intricate honeycomb design 🐝 symbolizes the interconnectedness of knowledge, and its design allows students to learn in a more relaxed and innovative atmosphere. 🌏💼

After a hiatus to start a family 👨‍👩‍👧, I returned to my craft during the 2020 pandemic with renewed passion and upgraded skills 🌿.

Under the brand Satine meaning "smooth, shiny" like gems 🌟 I now create timeless pieces crafted from pearls, gemstones, and more, perfect for adding elegance to your everyday wardrobe 🛍️.

My journey in jewelry has been an evolving one, beginning with fashion jewelry and gradually transitioning into fine and demi-fine creations 💫. I’ve incorporated precious metals, intricate designs, and rare stones like Spinel into my work, all while staying committed to quality and craftsmanship 🎨.

I specialize in working with gemstones, pearls, and jade 💎✨—materials that radiate timeless beauty. One of my most significant creations is the 18k Solid Gold Spinel Necklace (2.42ct) 💖. This rare and vibrant gemstone rivals the brilliance of sapphires and rubies, catching the light beautifully. Today, we find ourselves on the picturesque Koon Seng Road, one of Singapore’s most iconic and vibrant streets! 🏘️ Known for its beautifully preserved Peranakan shophouses, this road is a living testament to Singapore’s multicultural heritage.

Dating back to the 1920s, these charming homes are adorned with intricate floral tiles 🌺, pastel facades 🎨, and wooden shutters 🚪, showcasing a blend of Chinese, Malay, and European architectural styles.

Each building tells a unique story of the once-thriving Peranakan community, where tradition and modernity coexisted in harmony. 🌏✨
