The Frontier Community Club, 2nd floor Conference Room

The mission of the Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self-confidence and personal growth.

Our winners for Table Topics and Evaluation Club Contest are born!

On 15 August evening, The Frontier Toastmasters Club held the club contest for Table Topics and Evaluation. The Champion and 1st Runner Up for both categories will proceed to the next round, Area Contest, which will be held on 16 September.

It was an eventful and anticipating night, where we witnessed our club members pitching against each other, as they try to clinch a seat at the Area Contest. It was a nerve-wrecking experience, especially for our newly joined members, Pauline and Bernard, who courgeously gave their maiden shot at the club contest. They did well as they remained composed and elegantly delivered their speeches! Seasoned members such as Jacqueline, Subh and Babu, did not let down their guard either, as they charmed the audience with their charisma and eloquency.

We were grateful for all the help rendered for the Club Contest, and we would like to extend our sincere heartfelt thanks to Contest Chair Annabelle, and Chief Judge BG for activating the manpower needed to pull off this event successfully.

"Making History- HYBRID MEETING!"

It was a history-making night of hybrid meeting with 5 club members and a guest on-site (pre-pandemic) at The Frontier CC and the rest of the guests on remote via the zoom platform. After more than 2 yrs, the 3 speakers from the club did their speeches with a live audience! It was disorienting but certainly a feat and an indefinable joy. The club looks forward to having the succeeding meetings both on-site and online simultaneously.

Enthusiastic Speech Project SPEAKERS:
Raja Kumaran Manickam LD2 was a much-improved speaker on his speech titled “A toast to my guru on her farewell day”.
Gilbert Justin Jose Nesamani IP3 was delightful and interesting with his suggestions on how to increase club membership with his “Teaffee: For Happy Club” speech.
Annabelle Fabia- de Arroz DTM was nostalgic and grateful on her protégé-mentor speech and talked about her father as her first mentor and the many mentors she had in Toastmasters.
