Empowering Seniors for Better Joint Health!

On 7 March 2025, Seu Teck Medical Institution conducted an insightful Health Talk on Arthritis at Loving Heart AAC @ 229 (Yuhua) ()! 🏥👵🏻🧓🏻

Our TCM physician and staffs shared valuable knowledge on arthritis, its causes, and practical ways to manage joint pain. Participants also joined in a live demonstration showing simple movements to improve their range of motion, helping them stay active.

A big thank you to Loving Heart AAC @ 229 for inviting us, and to all the participants, residents and seniors for their enthusiasm and engagement! We’re committed to promoting health and wellness for our seniors.

On 1st March 2025, Seu Teck Medical Institution conducted a health talk on Arthritis, High Blood Pressure, and High Blood Glucose (三高) in partnership with People's Association, Punggol Oceanus, and the Punggol Shore Active Ageing Council.

Our TCM physician shared valuable medical insights with residents, raising awareness about these common health conditions. Residents also had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in a fruitful discussion to better understand how Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can support their health and well-being.

🌟 Connecting with the Community at Punggol Shore! 🌟

On 04 January 2025, Seu Teck Medical Institution had the honor of welcoming Ms. Yeo Wan Ling , Grassroots Adviser for Punggol Shore GROs, along with our dedicated grassroots volunteers.

During this special visit, we hosted a mini open house to introduce our charity clinic and share some of our exciting plans for 2025. It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen ties with the community and reaffirm our mission to provide alternative healthcare options through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

A big thank you to Ms. Yeo and all the volunteers for their support and enthusiasm. Together, we look forward to another year of growth, care, and collaboration! 🤝✨

🌟 Community Care in Action! 🌟

Last Saturday (28 December 2024), Seu Teck Medical Institution was honored to participate in the Matilda Year-End Party, where we provided free TCM services to the residents. Over the span of just 3 hours, we were privileged to serve more than 20 residents, offering a range of services such as:

✅ TCM Consultation
✅ Acupuncture
✅ General Health Advice for Healthy Living

It was heartening to see the enthusiasm of the residents and their keen interest in embracing healthier lifestyles. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers for inviting us to be part of this wonderful event and for giving us the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the community. 💙

We had an incredible day hosting our Yuhua residents at our TCM clinic. This activity was made possible as part of the Heritage Tour at Bukit Timah Seu Teck Sean Tong.

A light downpour did not dampen the spirit! Visitors and Yuhua residents explored our history, learned about our mission to provide accessible and free TCM services to the community.

Exploring 40 Years of Traditional Chinese Medicine Excellence!

We had the unique opportunity to visit Yi Shi Yuan, a renowned local Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) manufacturer with over 40 years of experience in the industry. From herbal formulas to OEM productions, Yi Shi Yuan has been at the forefront of blending ancient traditions with modern innovation.

During our visit, we learned about their meticulous, systematic and stringent production process. The rich history of TCM, and how they continue to maintain their commitment to quality and sustainability. It was inspiring to see the passion and expertise that go into their craft, ensuring that natural remedies are accessible for all.

We’re incredibly grateful for this educational and insightful experience organised by Yi Shi Yuan.
