6 June 2026

From 22 to 24 May, the incoming Company Administration of 2026/27 had their Admin Retreat, where they were introduced to their new roles and responsibilities.

As the Year 3 had their final camp as one cohort before welcoming their juniors in 2027 at the next camp, the Retreat served as an important opportunity to strengthen the cohort and establish high standards for the year ahead.

The camp included engaging bonding activities, such as games, as well as developmental activities to improve their standards as a cohort, such as drill and workshops on leadership.

“Admin Retreat was a fun time of bonding and fellowship with my fellow cohortmates. Although it was my 4th camp with my friends, and I‘ve spent 3 years with them, I still found out so many new things about them, and my officers too. The camp was an opportunity for us to try out our new roles as Company Admin and familiarise ourselves with the roles after the appointments were announced in April. Overall, it was a fun camp with my cohortmates and the officers !”
CPL/3 Samuel Teo
Wing Sergeant

We hope that the Year 3s had an enjoyable and meaningful time bonding with one another with Christ at its centre, and that the retreat helped them settle into the new roles and responsibilities that they will be undertaking in the years ahead!

On 2 May 2026, the 12I Singapore Company marked another cherished milestone, the ceremonial passing of the torch of student leadership. With grateful hearts, we thank God for guiding our Y6s and Y4s through the past year, sustaining them with resilience, wisdom, and an unbreakable spirit of brotherhood.

Our Y4s have passed Administration Leadership to the Y3s, and our Y6s have entrusted Primers Leadership to the Y5s — handing over not just roles, but a living legacy of Service and Dedication.

This is a testament to leaders shaped by the timeless values of The Boys’ Brigade: Reverence for God, Responsibility, and Readiness to serve. To those who now step into the calling, may God help you lead with vision, grace, and a heart for others.

We are grateful for those who have carved the path we now walk, and we trust that God will guide every step of those who rise today, just as He has always done. Resolute in purpose, unwavering in calling, for the Best is Yet to Be.

“I am so happy to be serving alongside the incoming Admin and Steering Comm and I am sure we are all so ready to serve the company for the better of everyone in BB! I hope that this handover will signify the new leadership taking over and let the outgoing Admin and Steering have a good break! I am really thankful for the opportunity to be able to serve the Company and I promise I will try my best! I hope that the next year will be a great one!”
CPL/3 Elijah Lim
Incoming CSM
(Company Sergeant Major)

“This year’s Primers and Admin handover saw new leadership take over in the company, as the outgoing Admin and Steering Committees ended their term. I am extremely grateful for their relentless service to the company and to God. As we step up this year, I am thankful for the opportunity to serve at a higher level in the company as Head Primer. My prayer for this company is that we will grow in our relationship with God, and be a community united in Christ. My hope is that as the Admin also takes over, we will lead with vision, for God’s glory!”

On behalf of the Juniors, Boys, Primers, Teachers, and Officers, the 12th Singapore Company wishes all a Blessed Mother’s Day

Today, we celebrate their love, their sacrifices, and their unwavering support. Let’s take this opportunity to appreciate and thank all mothers for the countless ways they have shaped us into who we are today.

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.”

On 25 April, Juniors, Boys, Primers, Instructors, Teachers, Officers and Alumni came together to commemorate the 12th Company’s 72nd Enrolment Ceremony.

We were deeply honoured to have Mr David Hoe, Member of Parliament for Jurong East-Bukit Batok GRC, to grace this occasion, as well as parents and alumni for their unwavering support. His testimony and sharing deeply resonated with our Boys.

During the ceremony, our Guest of Honour presented the Long Service Award to our Primers and also the SP Chua Medal for the Best Boy Award to WO/4 Caleb Toh.

Below was what WO/4 Caleb Toh had to say:

“Watching how our Company has grown from strength to strength with 72 years of history is heartening. As the Juniors, Boys, Primers and Officers rededicated themselves, may we continue to be Sure and Stedfast in serving the Company.”

As we commemorate our 72nd Enrolment, let us always remember to look back on God’s Faithfulness and give Thanks for all that He has done!

25 Apr 2026

Congratulation for receiving the Best Boy medal.

Warrant Officer Caleb Toh, our Company Sergeant Major, is a leader defined by wisdom, humility, and service.

Over the past four years, Caleb has learned to channel his sharpness into building others, from empowering peers and mentoring juniors, to leading his team to spearhead Company-wide initiatives such as the Peer Tutoring Service, TeamsBook, and an automated attendance-taking process

Through consistent acts of care and encouragement, Caleb lives out his personal faith as a servant leader, striving to check in on those around him and walk alongside them. Even as he excels academically, he continues to serve the community with his time and gifts.

It is this wholeness — the scholar who serves, the leader who prays, the sergeant who tutors — that has earned Caleb the deep respect of every peer who has had the privilege of serving alongside him.

It is therefore our privilege and joy to present WO Caleb Toh with the Best Boy Award for the Boys’ Brigade 12I Singapore Company.

From 14 to 16 March, our Year 1s and Year 4s participated in the annual Target Award Camp, where our Year 1 Boys are oriented to BB. This camp was the first time the Year 1s participated in a camp in 12I, while it was also the last camp the Year 4s would plan before handover, making it extremely meaningful for both cohorts. The camp kicked off with a Parents' Engagement session, which included a fireside chat hosted by SSG/4 Isaac Choi, and SSG/4 Caleb Toh and myself sharing about our experiences in The Boys' Brigade. This was followed by 3 days of hectic activities such as Hike, Tent-pitching, Adventure Lessons, Drill, Games and CE, where the Y4s mentored the Y1s and forged strong bonds with them.

"Target Award Camp was a meaningful experience where we were challenged both physically and mentally while strengthening our discipline and teamwork. Being new to 12th I Coy, the camp helped me get to know my seniors and batchmates better. Through the activities, I learned leadership and planning skills and that it is God who ultimately helps us remain sure and steadfast in this journey ahead.”
REC/1 Christopher Ng

We hope that both cohorts enjoyed themselves, and have gotten to know each other better through these 3 days.
