The NUS Volunteer Action Committee (NVAC) is a wholly student-driven volunteer organization that serves the community through direct volunteering, youth empowerment and encouragement of community and student initiatives. Established in 1990 with the initial aim of providing an avenue for undergraduates to volunteer their time to help the less fortunate in society, NVAC has since grown to become a

leading student volunteer organisation in Singapore. Today, NVAC has more than 350 dedicated and committed volunteers who carry out a range of regular volunteering programmes, special community events as well as overseas humanitarian missions. In 2011, NVAC was conferred the prestigious Ten Accomplished Youth Organization ASEAN Award, which serves to recognize the efforts of all NVAC volunteers.

NUS Volunteer Action Committee (NVAC) and MENDAKI Mentoring Programme 📖

The programme supports Secondary 2 students through small-group mentoring sessions aimed at building confidence, resilience, and aspirations.

Session 1: Saturday, 29 August 2026
Session 2: Saturday, 26 September 2026

Clementi Town Secondary School
Jurong West Secondary School
Jurongville Secondary School
Regent Secondary School

‼️To provide continuity for the students, mentors are expected to commit to both sessions.
