We are grateful for volunteers like Ms Tan Poh Choo, as well as our friends at SingHealth, for their continued belief in the importance of showing up consistently and being present.
Volunteers help make moments of connection, support and inclusion possible. We are thankful for those who continue to give their time, heart and skills to our students, clients and residents at SAAC π
Read about her experience as a volunteer in the post:
Volunteerism is not always about grand gestures.
Sometimes, it is about showing up consistently, being present, and offering our time, heart and skills to support others. π
For Ms Tan Poh Choo, Assistant Director of Nursing and Advanced Practice Nurse at Changi General Hospital (CGH), volunteering through SingHealthβs support of Presidentβs Challenge has been a meaningful way to connect with the community and contribute to a more inclusive Singapore.
When each of us takes a step to uplift someone else, we create meaningful connections that strengthen our entire community.
