The worsening haze is affecting all of us, so please take care of yourself and those around you.

We are distributing N95 and equivalent masks to vulnerable Singaporeans, and making air-conditioned shelters available at Community Clubs and selected Residents’ Network and Residents’ Committee centres. We will ensure that support is available to those who need it.

The haze stems from forest and peatland fires in Indonesia, made worse by the extended dry period. We have offered our assistance to Indonesia, and will continue working closely with them and our ASEAN partners to address the issue.

At the same time, we are looking into which companies may be responsible for the fires. Where warranted, we will take action under Singapore’s Transboundary Haze Pollution Act, and also explore joint action with other countries.

We cannot control the weather or the winds, nor can we directly control what happens beyond our borders. But we will do everything we can to protect Singaporeans, while working with our neighbours to address the underlying causes of the haze.

🌫️ Keeping Our Community Safe From the Haze! 😷💙

At Yio Chu Kang Community Club, we’re doing our part to keep our residents safe and protected during this period!

Our dedicated staff and volunteers have been working hand in hand to prepare and distribute N95-equivalent masks to eligible residents. From packing masks to assisting residents with collection, every effort counts in caring for our community! ❤️

📍 Mask Collection Details

🏡 Venue: Yio Chu Kang Community Club

📅 Days: Monday to Sunday (Daily)

🕙 Time: 10am – 6pm

Who is eligible?

Singaporeans under the following schemes:

✅ Pioneer Generation

✅ Merdeka Generation

✅ CHAS Orange and Blue Card holders

✅ Medical Fee Exemption Card holders

✅ ComCare Assistance recipients

Pregnant women, children aged 7 to 16, and individuals with medical conditions such as asthma may also collect masks at designated PA spaces.

🪪 What to Bring?

Eligible residents should bring their NRIC for verification. Family members or friends may also collect on their behalf using the eligible person’s NRIC.

Masks are available for eligible Singaporean residents, including persons with medical conditions, pregnant women, children aged 7 to 16, and holders of eligible assistance scheme cards. Please bring along your NRIC during collection. A family member or friend may collect on the eligible person's behalf using their NRIC.

PA will continue to monitor the situation and support our residents. In the meantime, minimise strenuous outdoor activity where possible and look out for one another.
