About us
The Finance Society at Mälardalens University is a student-run organization that seeks to expose students to the various fields of finance and business by providing them with perspectives from experienced students, faculty members, and professionals.
During the academic year 2020/2021, MDH Finance Society found itself at a hardship because of the challenges imposed by the regulations for Covid-19. Unfortunately, the board couldn’t organize much external activities for the society members, so the focus became internal - on rebranding the organization and getting it ready for the next year. Therefore, we need to compound a new board, which will not only carry the legacy, but also join us in the process of creating the best version of the society yet!
The board regularly meets to discuss ideas for activities, evaluate partnerships, organize and supervise events, and develop strategies for growing the society’s reach and involvement.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to remain organized while balancing priorities and tasks
Self-motivated and reliable
Creative thinker and solution-oriented
Ability to work with a team
Optional: be intrigued by finance/ trade/ investing/ accounting.

Marketing officers
Event coordinator
Corporate relation officer
Treasurer
Administrative officer
Human Resources
In your application, you can choose one or more of the positions. Although each position oversees its functions, the board is very flexible, and you’ll have the chance to cross-collaborate!
