Are you interested in joining UF Uppsala? The Uppsala Association of Foreign Affairs invites you to our biannual Get Active mingle!

The mingle will be held February 4th between 17:00-20:00 at Smålands nation in the ballroom upstairs. You will have the opportunity to meet various members of our different committees at their respective tables during the mingle. Come have a chat with our members to find out more about what we do, how we work, and how to get involved!

Membership is not required and of course, we will be serving free fika and coffee! We hope to see you there!

How are current technical advancements affecting modern warfare? Join us on the 3rd of December for an exciting lecture with Måns Molander!

Måns holds the position of Nordic Director of Human Rights Watch, and will during the lecture discuss how modern technology operates in current conflicts. He will share research on drone warfare in Ukraine and elsewhere, and discuss how emerging technologies in conflict create new challenges for international law.

New radio episode, this time with renowned Swedish diplomat Jan Eliasson!

Last Wednesday, we welcomed top diplomat Ingrid Tersman, the current director of the Swedish diplomat training program and former ambassador to Estonia, Moldova, and Central Asia among others.

She shared valuable insights from her remarkable career, from her experience being a stockholm based ambassador to the Central Asian nations in changing times to her time in Estonia playing a key part in the two countries close cooperation.
She also answered many questions and gave us great insight into the process of admissions and makeup of the Swedish diplomatic training program during a Q&A session.

We thank Ingrid for a great lecture and thanks to all of you who came!🙌
