Uppsala has people from many countries with a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Uppsala Bridge is a multicultural community based in Uppsala connecting through interactive, thought-provoking discussions about various topics and other fun activities. Because of our keen interest in these people and their stories, we strive to bring them together through interactive, thought-provoking discussions on various topics of interest. Apart from the discussion events we are also planning to make other fun get-togethers to further connect Bridgers. We were created as a partner project of Budapest Bridge based in Hungary, inspired by our common goals and values. https://www.facebook.com/BudapestBridge/?ref=page_internal

Dear All!

The international dinner this Monday would have been our last event for this semester, where we would have wanted to thank you for taking part in our events and celebrate the start of the summer together. However, as we unfortunately had to cancel that event we would like to at least the "thank you"-part here.

These past two semesters were quite challenging for Uppsala Bridge, with quite some ups and downs.
🎂We had a great start with an amazing opening event (together with the founder of the Budapest Bridge Community in Hungary) and some really thought-provoking discussions afterwards.
💡However, as the end of the autumn semester was approaching, and people had to go back to their home country (both from our team and those who came to our events) we did find ourselves in front of sum hurdles which we had to overcome. It took us a little while to figure it out, but we managed to start our events again a few weeks ago.
☀️However, now that summer is approaching and everybody is going on holiday, spreading out around the world,🌏 Uppsala Bridge is also taking a summer break. 😊

📅As for our future: We are having some changes in our team next semester, which we’ll have to figure out over the summer. But we are trying our best to be back - full of new ideas and energy – and start again with exciting and lively discussions next semester, inspired by the ones we had in this first year of our existence 😊

We wish you all a great summer and hopefully see you again in the autumn!

Sommartider hej hej!!!

Best,
The Uppsala Bridge Team
