What happens when 13 destinations spend nearly three years testing ideas on-site and putting what works into practice?
For the Bothnian coast, it helped shape a new Nordic cross-border region: the Bothnian Coastal Route. 🇸🇪🇫🇮
During this period, destinations in Sweden and Finland have worked together along the Bothnian coast – developing coastal travel products and itineraries, exploring local food and culture, and collaborating across borders. More than 310 small and medium-sized companies have contributed with knowledge, services and local perspectives throughout the project.
🎬 This film highlights key outcomes from the Bothnian Coastal Route project – including educational tours, cross-border study trips, work on a new coastal culinary region, sustainability and AI activities for companies, and shared marketing tools along the coast.
