Förra veckan åkte Samuel, Isak och Mikko till Sveriges förenade studentkårer, SFS fullmäktige i Skövde för att representera NTK.
Många ämnen diskuterades men inte minst regeringens sänkta bidrag till studentkårer och behovet av ökad trygghet och återhämtning för studenter. På tal var även rikstäckande bestämmelser om obligatorisk tjänstgöring inom ramarna för totalförsvarsplikt. Vi från NTK tillsammans med Uppsala teknolog- och naturvetarkår och Försvarshögskolans studentkår motionerade att lägga till i SFS åsiktsprogram att studenter ska erbjudas möjlighet att genomföra uteblivna obligatoriska kursmoment och tentamina vid ett annat tillfälle eller att ersätta dessa med likvärdiga moment om de kallats till obligatorisk tjänstgöring. Detta är även något vi tillsammans med Umeå Studentkår och Umeå Medicinska Studentkår driver som hjärtefråga på hemmaplan.
Vi har även ökat vårt samarbete inom Reftec, ett samarbete mellan teknologkårer, och ser fram emot att fördjupa detta samarbete under kommande året för att driva fler frågor på nationell nivå.

Last week, Samuel, Isak and Mikko went to the Swedish United Student Unions, SFS council in Skövde to represent NTK.
Many topics were discussed, but not least the government's reduced contributions to student unions and the need for increased security and recovery for students. There was also talk of nationwide regulations on mandatory service within the framework of total military service. We from NTK, together with the Uppsala Technology and Science Union and the National Defence University student union, moved to add to the SFS opinion program that students should be offered the opportunity to complete missed mandatory course elements and exams at another time or to replace these with equivalent elements if they have been called for mandatory service. This is also something that we, together with the Umeå Student Union and the Umeå Medical Student Union, are pursuing as a matter of concern.
We have also increased our cooperation within Reftec, a cooperation between technology unions, and look forward to deepening this cooperation in the coming year to pursue more issues at a national level.
