SOUNDSCAPES – Light, Noise, and Me is an exhibition about live music, emotions, and personal transformation. The project explores concerts not just as performances, but as spaces where people feel, reflect, and connect — both with others and with themselves.
At the heart of the exhibition is the work of photographer Ekaterina Iakiamseva.
It´s a chronicle of an inner journey, told through the language of music and light. For several years, Ekaterina attended concerts with a camera, trying to capture not only the music, but herself — the self that searches, changes, and becomes. Some works are dark, blurred, filled with flares and noise — metaphors of searching and inner fog. Other days, the focus shifts toward light and openness: large stages, bright illumination, the musicians’ world, and the energy of the moment. Within this series, two worlds meet — intuitive and structured, dark and luminous — not in opposition, but in dialogue, completing each other. Each picture a fragment of a mosaic-like path, where light and sound become a language of self-discovery.
