SSCA - SSE Students for Climate Action Accelerating the shift towards a sustainable economy, by increasing the focus on environmental and climate-related issues within academia. Join us!

SSE Students for Climate Action, SSCA, is a transparent and creative student organization striving to accelerate the shift into a sustainable economy. We are independent of both SASSE and Stockholm School of Economics. Our main objectives include:

1. SSE’s climate agenda: Making sure SSE reduces its CO2 emissions in line with the 1.5°C target and with respect to climate equity.

2.Academia: Incre

asing the focus on environmental and climate-related issues within SSE's education.

3. Business: Impacting companies, through SSE students, to take responsibility for environmental-related issues.

SSCA was founded in 2018 and has since then earned great respect through its exceptional commitment to the advancement of the climate agenda at Stockholm School of Economics. SSCA is part of the national network "Klimatstudenterna Sverige". Board Members:

🌎 For the third year in a row, our national organization Klimatstudenterna Sverige has ranked the climate work of Swedish universities. In total, 23 higher education institutions participated in the Climate Action Ranking 2022, by answering a survey and sharing information on their climate work.

😨 SSE did not get a ranking this year because it did not report!

🌎 We encourage SSE's leadership to be transparent about its climate ambitions and take necessary actions to improve in many critical areas. Let's aim to report and hold a top position in next year's ranking! We must contact the university to remind them why it matters.
