Our Story
Kurdish Diaspora is a non-governmental, politically independent organization, established 2014 in Sweden in order to make efforts to encourage further development and democratization of Kurdistan, to work for equality and human rights, and to provide humanitarian help.
In order to further mobilize the available resources, the organization established “Kurdish Diaspora Center of Strategic Studies” (KDCSS) in april 2019. The center conducts multidisciplinary research in support of the development of Kurdistan, particularly in the process of nation-building, and other national strategic objectives. Established by Kurdish Diaspora, the Center for Strategic Studies is a politically independent research organization dedicated to provide solid political theories and strategic insights to chart a course toward a democratic and politically sovereign nation.
Kurdish Diaspora Center for Strategic Studies is grounded on the position that East Kurdistan is ruled as a colony by the Persian State of Iran, and KDCSS focuses on sociocultural, psychosocial, ecological, economical and political challenges that the Kurdish society is facing.
The Center aims to create a large network of affiliated scholars conducting cross-disciplinary research, analysis and develop policy initiatives for a better future for an East Kurdistan with political sovereignty and fully-fledged democracy. Apart from research work the Center also have the intention of bringing about regular seminars, roundtable discussions, debate programs and briefings regarding the mentioned challenges. کوردیش دیاسپۆڕا ڕێکخراوهیهکی ناحکوومیی سهربهخۆیه که ساڵی ۲۰۱۴ له سوئێد دامهزراوه. ئهم ڕێکخراوهیه به مهبهستی کهلکوهرگرتن له تواناییهکان و ئیمکاناتی کۆمهڵگای کوردیی تاراوگه نشین بۆ یارمهتیدان به کۆمهڵگای کوردهواری به گشتی، و کۆمهڵگای کوردیی ناوخۆی کوردستان به تایبهتی، پێک هاتووه. کوردیش دیاسپۆڕا تێدهکۆشێ مێکانیسمی گونجاو و زانستی بۆ کهلکوهرگرتن له سهرچاوهکانی مهزنی هزر و وزه و ئیمکانات که کوردی تاراوگه خاوهنداریهتی دهکا، یا خود دهستی پێڕادهگا، به ئامانجی یارمهتی گهیاندن به گهشه و پێشکهوتنی خێراتری کۆمهڵگای کوردیی دانیشتووی ناوخۆی وڵات بدۆزێتهوه و وهگهڕیان بخا. ئهو یارمهتیانه دهکرێ شێوازی جۆراوجۆریان ههبێ، بۆ وێنه هزری و فکری، ماددی، زانستی، هتد.
