Last week, ten Nordic companies came together for the UK Propel Bootcamp, gaining hands-on, in-depth insights into how to enter and scale in the UK healthcare market.
- Just 30 minutes into the programme, I realized my presumed strategy for reaching the NHS was totally wrong. That save me a lot of time, money and energy. Says Bård Fossli Jensen.
Over four days, we dived into the UK health and innovation ecosystem, gaining knowledge on topics such as the NHS health system, including governance and procurement, funding and financing, regulatory and legal aspect, all critical for success. In addition, we met with NHS leaders, industry experts and knowledge partners to explore how the companies’ solutions can scale, collaborate and create impact in the UK market. In short, knowledge and contacts with the potential to open doors between Nordic innovators and the UK health system.
One of Anna Riby's key takeaway:
- The NHS is a complex system, but if you take on their priorities, help solve important pain points and your solution contributes to efficiency and ideally cash savings, the system is really open to innovative solutions.
An intense, rewarding and collaborative week with many connections made, has accelerated learning that would otherwise take much longer.
