Munnen är en mötesplats för konst, publicering, mat, lyssnande och kollektivt skapande baserad på Byälvsvägen 18 i Bagarmossen, Stockholm – ett läsrum med ett gemensamt bibliotek, där även utställningar, workshops och andra evenemang för kvarteret ordnas.

Garden Book Circle!
Thursday 21 May 2026, 18:30–20:00

The Garden Book Circle is a reading group for garden enthusiasts and anyone curious about the world of gardening. Each session features a short text related to gardens, followed by an open discussion. We will explore gardening in its broadest sense- delving into folklore, magic, philosophy, horticulture, and indigenous systems of knowledge.

Amongst others, we will read texts by Jamaica Kincaid, Ruth Stout, Masanobu Fukuoka, Olivia Laing, and Rebecca Solnit. We will collectively expand our library by following the inputs from the book circle so as to include more heterogeneous perspectives in our readings.

No pre-reading is required. Texts will be provided on-site. The sessions are held in English. Everyone is welcome.

Join us at Munnen for the semi-regular Tender Hands Printing Co-op! Against the “too-rough fingers of the world” we carve to heal, hope, and dream~* We carve images and words into plates of wood and MDF, to make collective prints on textiles and paper. The session is open to all experience levels, just bring your curiosity about wood block printing. Tools and materials are provided.

We aim to organise this collaboratively with all those interested to participate! You’re also open to simply attend as you like. We are starting Tender Hands Printing Co-op inspired by A3BC in Tokyo, and daikon in the UK, which both uses collective graphic voices to visualize political struggles within different groups.

🪡🧵🧶 Fyra tisdagkvällar i rad håller Munnen öppet med gästande handledare från Repair Cafe Stockholm. Ta med dig textila lagningsprojekt, få tips och råd att komma igång. Stoppa en strumpa, laga en vante, lappa en byxa, brodera en detalj till din banderoll eller något annat textilt som du behöver eller har lust med. Vi har extra stoppnålar, garner, sax, knappar och lagningslappar mm ifall du inte har egna. Om du glömt ditt lagningsprojekt kan du ändå sy ett collage av lagningslappar. och upptäcka det rofyllda med många små stygn. Vi lagar för hand utan maskin, enkelt och ganska så tyst i snällt sällskap av goda grannar. Det finns en bordsyta men inte så jättestort. Kom en gång eller flera, en kort stund eller hela kvällen, precis som du själv vill. Ingen kostnad men det går att swisha för fika helt frivilligt.

🌱🌾🪴 Fröbiblioteket för 17 har fortfarande fröer kvar!

När Munnen är öppen är Fröbibliotektet tillgängligt. Vill du odla något välkommen att botanisera bland våra donerade fröer och ta med dig det du vill prova att odla. Upptäck böcker om odling, jord, växter, matsuveränitet, omställning, biologisk mångfald, sociala rörelser och klimaträttvisa i allmänhet och texter och tips om fröodling i synnerhet. Fröerna kostar ingenting men i höst tänker Bagisodlarna samla in nya fröer, så vi uppmanar alla odlare att spara frö.

Tasty things to put in your mouth 👅 Goda saker att stoppa i munnen!

The evening will offer various nourishing food and drinks which you can purchase on a sliding scale/pay what you can basis. We will have:

✨ Baked yummies and snacks generously prepared by Tina Asplund and Bagisodlarna, made with ingredients harvested from the local community garden.

✨Specially composed drinks (one warm and one cold) prepared by Louise Sinaga Helmfrid and Gülbeden Kulbay

✨ A hearty, luscious soup with various toppings graciously cooked with care by Kristin Forslöf

✨Coffee, tea and an assortment other drinks to infuse the night with a warm, friendly feeling.

På kvällens meny finns närande mat och dryck som du kan köpa, baserat på betala-vad-du-kan-systemet. Det kommer att finnas:
