The Indisk Classical Ethnic Forum (ICEF), in collaboration with Stockholm Sangeet, warmly invites you to celebrate the beauty of Indian Classical and Semi-Classical Music this spring. We are extremely excited and welcome you to this melodious afternoon amidst a scenic environment in Bromma, Stockholm with other music connoisseurs.
Like last year, this year we have invited artist from India , reknowned sitar maestro Pt. Rabindra Narayan Goswami who will grace the stage and mesmerize us with the soulful resonance of the sitar. Joining him will be Stockholm’s own celebrated sitar master K. G. Westman, who is also a student of Pt. Rabindra Narayan Goswami ji. Swaranjali Sweden, a centre for nurturing Classical vocal amongst children, youths and adults will be presenting Raga Vocal Music envisaged by Sampurna Chakraborty.
The Semi-Classical segment will behold Ethnic songs from India who takes you back to the shores of Jamuna or gives you the smell of your motherland. Soulful songs by acclaimed vocalists Sampurna Chakraborty and Agni Banerjee will delight the audience with their expressive and melodious renditions of Bhajan, Dadra and Geets. Tabla will be presented by Suvrat Apta and Prithvi Shenoy, while the event will be beautifully hosted by Urmimala Banerjee, guiding us through this memorable musical journey.
