Planet One is an initiative to support the growing global youth movement for climate justice.

Through this collaborative project between Fryshuset and Greenpeace we aim to combine the two organizations’ long experience and strengths in meeting, engaging and building platforms for young people to carry out advocacy work. Planet One creates common physical places and provides tools for learning-by-doing for young people in 6 cities - Stockholm (Sweden), Budapest (Hungary), Yerevan (Armenia),

Yaoundé (Cameroon), Nairobi (Kenya) and Johannesburg (South Africa), setting the base of an international network of local Climate Changemakerspaces.

Last month .hubsa hosted Greenpeace Africa Board Members. The visit brought together Board Members, staff, and volunteers for a vibrant and interactive engagement

The session featured a range of activities including a powerful poetry segment, music and dance performances, as well as hands-on creative art led by youth and volunteers. It was a great opportunity to showcase the energy, creativity, and strong sense of community within the Hub.

Over the past three months, .hu organized its first ecofeminist training, bringing together 13 participants. During the program, they explored ecofeminism through inspiring examples such as Vandana Shiva and the Wages for Housework campaign.

They also worked on strengthening tneir imagination and their capacity for hope—essential foundations for creating meaningful change in the society.
At the end of the training, participants designed and hosted their own event, putting their new knowledge into practice and sharing it with others. The result? An event that brought together 70 participants!

To celebrate Week in Cameroon, .hub convened dynamic young leaders for a special Green Hub Artivism Workshop on Saturday, 7 February.

Through art and collaboration, and with the support of inspiring artists, participants combined creativity and climate advocacy to produce a compelling visual statement of their commitment to a greener future.

We are proud of every young person who showed up, engaged, and took action.
This is the power of youth leadership.
