💻 TILHEYRA IT Workshop

Last week, we held our second TILHEYRA online workshop, this time focusing on IT skills and digital accessibility.

The workshop was hosted by Newcomers with Disabilities in Sweden (NWDIS), and it was an important milestone for us. It gave us the opportunity to share practical knowledge from our own area of work and contribute directly to making digital tools more accessible and easier to use.

Together, we explored practical IT skills that can help in everyday life, shared useful tips and tools, and had space for questions and discussion.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the workshop!

TILHEYRA brings together organisations from Sweden, Finland, Iceland and Estonia to make useful information and knowledge more accessible to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers with disabilities.

More TILHEYRA workshops are coming, with advocacy and misinformation still ahead.

The first TILHEYRA workshop is almost here!

On 10 August, our partner Hilma will host the first online workshop of the project, focusing on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).

TILHEYRA is a Nordplus project that brings together partners from four countries in the Nordic–Baltic region, combining expertise in disability rights, digital accessibility and IT, advocacy, and tackling misinformation to make information more accessible and reliable.

We wish everyone a successful workshop and look forward to following the project's journey over the coming months.
