This FRIDAY!

Grab your bicycle and join for the BEST FRIDAY of your month!

There’ll be music, a lot of bicycles, flags, a bunch of wonderful people, AFTER MASS, and a little bit of symbolic justice in traffic!

An old legend says that if you join us, you’ll experience things that are unique, yet simple.

We gather Friday, 29 May 2026, 17:45 at Medborgarplatsen. Do a little tour around the city. End with an AFTER MASS!

If you have any questions or hesitations, let us know! We welcome everyone. Make sure you have an opportunity to not just come and go, but stay part of the community and define us!

You’ve been told again and again, that you can’t change the society. That it’s all up to some “decision makers”. As if the society was something that could be decided upon by anyone.

Governments are able to murder people in wars, institutionalize racism, misuse public money for highways and fossil fuel subsidies, support genocides, impose injustices of all forms.
They’re able to do this, because even though many, or even most, “don’t like it”, people still do accept that it happens.
We’re in year 2026, in the society, where it would not be possible to legalize selling ci******es to children. Not because some “representatives” couldn’t possibly vote for it, but because the society would simply not accept that regardless. You would never hear “oh, it is what it is. There’s nothing I can do about it”.

So how can the governments do all those other things?! Because it goes fairly smooth, doesn’t it? Little period with a bit of critique maybe? Not something that’d prevent anyone from doing something they really want.
“This is so bad” is just a thought. It only exists in your head. A thought does not exist in the physical world.

There’s nothing’s more powerful than an engaging society.
It’s the society that ultimately decides what can or cannot happen.
Even the most authoritarian dictators are just a single person in a complex society. What they say and want can only turn into a reality if the society accepts it - not whether it “likes it” or not.

A bicycle on the streets is what it takes to start reclaiming back the city. And even if they ever try to intimidate or remove you by force - they would have to bother to do that. That would have cost, that would require energy. You win, even if you “loose” - because you don’t hand in power for free to the petro-oligarchs and their puppets.
Resistance is not just a thought that can be ignored.

Den 4 april är det Earth Overshoot Day för Sverige i år. Det innebär att vi redan efter drygt tre månader har förbrukat de naturresurser som skulle räcka för hela året.

Vi är här för att vi har en djup kärlek till allt levande, mänskligheten och planeten. Vi vill bevara allt detta, i denna stund och för framtida generationer. Vi befinner oss i en nödsituation, tillsammans. Vi är allt som behövs.

Have you seen how much support car needs from the society?

It’s chunky. You don’t have place to put it or store it. Impossible to transport around people.

It needs designated infrastructure. To drive it, to store it.

It eventually bulldozers and takes over the city, becomes the default, and everything else is then a special infrastructure - “walking infrastructure”, “cycling infrastructure” becomes a thing.

Eight wonderful people

It's been four years.
We'd wished to break car-dependency; slow down Holocene extinction; give freedom of movement back to children; make transportation just, inclusive, and affordable to all - seen as a pillar necessary for a healthy society, not as a number in a stupid spreadsheet.
Unfortunately, we didn't do that.
But we clearly did something that's better than nothing.

Dear Stockholmare 🚂

On Friday 12th of December at 16:45, we will have an INTERNATIONAL PYJAMA PARTY for night trains at Stockholm Central! 🎊
As the date suggests, we will also have some Lucia elements to it ✨, together with a silent disco 🪩!

📣 We call for more, better and affordable night trains – the most environmentally and socially just way to travel long distances, connecting people and places through slower, more intentional mobility.

🗓️ See you at Stockholm Central main hall by the Spottkoppen (the hole in floor that's overlooking the floor underneath) 
from 16:45 to 19:00.

🗺️ What and why?

Together with people in many other cities, from Lisbon to Helsinki, from Amsterdam to Vienna, we call for more, better and affordable night trains – the most environmentally and socially just way to travel long distances, connecting people and places through slower, more intentional mobility.

We will be bringing energy through music, fika, coffee/tea, flyers and others materials.

The EN345/346 night train, connecting Stockholm to Central Europe, has been under threat of being discontinued for quite some time now, and the situation has been similar for most other night trains in Sweden and the rest of Europe. Some of them have actually stopped operating. All this while the aviation industry continues growing, offering more and cheaper connections at a high climate cost.

We are here to oppose that with a party and some fun, spreading awareness on the topic! !

🧳 What to bring?

Get creative with the Lucia-goes-Pyjama-party-theme! Maybe you decorate your pyjamas with some glitter and candles (no real fire though 🧯). Or you might wear the traditional Lucia-nightgown and accessorise with a sleeping eye mask and a stuffed toy 🐯. Only your imagination sets the limits!

• Fully charged smartphone or powerbank

• Your energy is the most important so we are happy if you come even if you are unable to make any preparations. 💕

It's like a demonstration. For bikes.
But also a party. A community. Some anarchy, maybe?

Some of it is painting a picture - even if just for a day...
Some of it is a sense of freedom, which no one else will ever give you - you can only take it yourself.
Some if it is a fight for a moment of symbolic justice.
Some if it is a joy of the moment.

Some of it about civic courage and daring to upset an old white man.
Some of it is just to practice and get more comfortable with that.

There is no single, simple reason.
But the movement is one
