Hela Sverige cyklar till Stockholm för den stora klimatdemonstrationen.
Vi kommer att samla på lördag, 22 augusti, kl 11 på Medborgarplatsen och cykla med Critical Mass till Sergels torg!
Alla är välkommna!

Klimatmanifestationer 22-23 augusti: Alla, långväga som lokala cyklister möts på Medborgarplatsen i Stockholm den 22 augusti, omkring kl 11–12, för en gemensam så kallad ”Critical mass” mot 24 timmar för klimatet. Information om exakt tid kommer senare. Dagen efter, söndagen den 23 augusti, ansluter alla till Den stora klimatdemonstrationen. Samling kl 12 vid Vasaparken.
Om 24-timmarsmanifestationen och Den stora klimatdemonstrationen

Bakom 24-timmarsmanifestationen står klimatgrupperna Rebellmammorna och Rebellpapporna tillsammans med forskarnätverket Researchers desk. Under ett dygn samlas deltagare till musik, framträdanden och samtal för att uppmärksamma stödet för en mer kraftfull klimatpolitik. Manifestationen avslutas med anslutning till Den stora klimatdemonstrationen som startar klockan 13 den 23 augusti i Stockholm.

Initiativtagare till Den stora klimatdemonstrationen är Naturskyddsföreningen, Rebellmammorna, Rebellpapporna och Researchers desk. Demonstrationen förväntas samla en bredd av civilsamhället och arrangörerna räknar med att det kommer att bli den största klimatdemonstration på flera år med över hundra organisationer och föreningar kommer att ansluta sig. Redan nu har fackförbundet ST och Cykelfrämjandet ställt sig bakom arrangemanget.

SÖNDAGEN DEN 20 SEPTEMBER 2026

Det är då Cykelkarnevalen tar över gatorna och torgen och tillsammans förvandlar vi Stockholm till en cykelstad.
Under några timmar är alla välkomna att ta del av cykelrelaterade events, musik och mässa. Allt är kostnadsfritt, alla är välkomna.

You don't have to be a cardiologist to see that cyclists have big and strong hearts!

July was beyond expectations! It feels like everyone is away, no one will come. But then crowds show up!!!
We're taking the streets not just to show others how easy it is to reclaim back public space, that ultimately belongs to and is controlled by people, but we also hope to impact you as a participant. To give you a taste of control, of how easy it would be to change things. To give you an opportunity to experience something that stretches a tiny bit outside everyone's comfortable. To make that experience forever change how you see and act.

We hope to see everyone on the 22nd of August (Saturday), 11:00 at Medborgarplatsen, when the whole Sweden comes (and many of them bike) to Stockholm for the big 24h demonstration for the climate!
Then again regular Critical Mass on the 28th of August!

Also, if you join us at least somewhat regularly, and not in our group chat, please let us know and we'll add you! I think there's at least a bunch of you that are missing!

**Who:** Everyone on a bicycle (or similar) - kids & grandparents welcome!
Everyone is welcome, everyone's invited, everyone who can should come! Open to everyone!
Never heard of this Cykelaktion or Critical Mass?! Great, perfect candidate - join us even if just once for this little trip!

Route: Djurgården → Norra Djurgården → Brunnsviken
Practical: We might end with a little picnic 🥦🥕 and swim in the lake 😎🌊, so if you feel like it bring some swimwear and something to eat.

We keep it relatively short and if a hill shows up we walk.

Cars ruin cities. Cars kill. Driving is selfish*.
They all know it, we all know it, but we need to keep reminding it. It's not simple, not easy, not nice. But there doesn't exist some other way that works.

I hope the concert was fun, and the long bike trips are going well!
