What an incredible Jamaica Independence Festival 2026

This year was a huge success and we are extremely proud of how professionally and smoothly the festival was carried out by our dedicated festival team.
From the live performances and cultural activities to the Tivoli and Balloon Bubble, there was something for everyone. Seeing the excitement and happiness of the children throughout the day was one of the biggest highlights for us.

Despite the unexpected challenges with internet connection, our food vendors continued serving thousands of visitors. Payments were slower than usual, but together we kept things moving. This is one area we are already committed to improving for 2027.

We received incredibly positive engagement from all our artists, and our documentary team was equally optimistic about what they captured. Their upcoming documentary exploring reggae and dancehall culture in Sweden will also feature this special moment in our festival journey.

And now for our biggest announcement
Jamaica Independence Festival 2027 will become a TWO DAY FESTIVAL

Two days of music, culture, food and entertainment with exciting new additions including camping on site, an extended festival experience, after party activities and much more.

Thank you to everyone who attended, performed, worked, volunteered and contributed to making 2026 such a memorable success.

We are growing together and 2027 will take the Jamaica Independence Festival to another level.
