PUBLIC USE
David Knight and Cristina Monteiro, DK-CM
Open lecture at Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus with London based architecture practice DK-CM, Oct 11 7 PM, as part of a collaboration between IA Konstfack, Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus and Konstfrämjandet Stockholm
DK-CM is a practice of architects, researchers and strategists who work in public to create spatial, environmental and social change. Our recent work has explored adaptive re-use to open up new spaces and interiors for public use. David and Cristina will talk about delivered projects that explore this idea, from London-wide design guidance to delivered architecture.
Lecture will be in English and via Zoom. Refreshments and interesting conversations will be free.

The lecture is part of our ongoing collaboration with Konstfack and Hägerstensåsens Medborgarhus. During the autumn semester students from the Master program in Spatial Design at Konstfack are working at Hägerstensåsens Medborgarhus (Community center). Students and teachers collaborate with Hägerstensåsens Medborgarhus and Konstfrämjandet Stockholm to engage in practical work, research, field studies and discussions about possible futures of public space.
