In the Nordic Tradition, Life is a Weave. Everyone has a Thread of Life, just one. It starts moving through the Weave when we are born and continues until the time is up and it is cut.
With it we Create pictures, happenings, in the Weave. What kind of pictures do you Create? Are you weaving your Dream or nightmare?

Do you take care of your Thread? It is thick, in Vibrant colours and strong? Or is it thin, tired and colourless? It is easier to Weave a Happy and Beautiful Life with a Thread in Good order...

And is the Thread running smoothly and easily in the Weave? Or does it get stuck, does it have knots, is it hoplessly entangled in someone elses mess?

In the Nordic Tradition we have Seid and one of the Seids are called Trådlöpning, Running the Thread. In this kind of Seid we work with the thread, solving problems, strenghtening it, removing knots...

SWB Tune-in for for Animals Caught up by War and Catastrophes. Tekla Drakfrende is doing this Tune-in on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 from Sweden at 12:00 PM Mountain Time/19:00 PM CET.

Shamanism Without Borders (SWB) offers a format and a way for those of you who wish to participate and engage with us in tending practices to do so remotely. SWB Tune-ins.
For the Tune-in, we will all gather remotely, separately but together in spirit at the same time and send supportive energy to the situation we are tending.

Animals are the victims of war as well as people. The people taking care of them can die or their stables or kennels be bombed as has happened in Ukraine. The animals in the zoos have nowhere to go and many of them are stressed by something as simple as loud noises. Animals can also be used actively in war. Dogs can patrol or search for mines. Horses has been used for transports by the Russians even this year.
If a catastrophe happens like a flood, a drought, or an earthquake, animals are hurt too but most of the rescue missions is focused on people.

Let us join together to do what we can do. Let us ask the Spirits for what help we can give and then give it. You can meditate, drum, journey or do whatever feels right to you. When we focus on helping them together, our work will combine and get stronger.
Create sacred ceremonial space in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed by other people or loud noises. Set up a small altar or light a candle, and use your drum, rattle or sing with us.

We will drum for at least 30 minutes, and you can drum as long as you wish.

In southern Lebanon, many families were forced to leave their homes during recent unrest, and sadly some pets and stray animals were left behind.

While most people were trying to find safety, one man chose to stay and help the animals that had nowhere to go.

Hussein Hamza has been rescuing dogs and caring for them at his shelter, which now houses more than 200 animals. He provides them with food, water, and a safe place to stay.

Hamza also travels to nearby towns and villages, searching for animals that were abandoned and bringing them back to safety.

With the help of online supporters who donate food and supplies, he continues to care for the growing number of dogs depending on him.

His story is a powerful reminder that compassion can still shine even in the most difficult times. 🐾

People often desert animals in a crisies.
Tune in on Sunday to support them!!

This is Hannah. She is previously lived in Dubai and helped care for pets left behind after their owners suddenly left the country.

Experts at the RSPCA have issued an urgent plea to Brits in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who have pets. The animal charity is urging Brits to bring their pets home with them and not abandon them if they leave the Middle East.

British citizens in Dubai have been leaving their pets behind, with some asking vets to put them down in a desperate attempt to flee to safety according to reports 💔

Hannah is the chief executive of the RSPCA Blackpool and North Lancashire and has urged people to think about the animals.

Hannah said: “People will understandably be deeply concerned for their safety amid rising tensions and the prospect of the War deepening. But animals shouldn’t become the forgotten victims when people leave a country in a crisis.

“I’ve seen animals left behind after their owners suddenly left Dubai. Some were microchipped and clearly once loved, but their families had gone. It’s heart-breaking for rescuers and frightening for the animals.”

För Djur i katastrofer och krig.
Djur far illa i skuggan av mänskliga konflikter och skeenden. De överges när folk flyr. Kanske är de fastkedjade när översvämningen kommer. Kanske lämnas de i huset när det bombats eller rasat av en jordbävning. Det finns alltid räddningsinsatser för människor men för Våra Underbara Djur är det sämre. Och även om de blir räddade så får de sår av att bli övergivna och av själva händelsen. Nu gör vi det vi kan, tillsammans!
Vi samlas vid samma tidpunkt, utan digital kontakt, och gör det vi kan. Du kanske trummar, sjunger, gör en trumresa, mediterar, tänder ett ljus, lyckönskar... Vi gör det samtidigt för att effekten läggs ihop och förstärks då.

Kom med på Trådlöpning på lördag!
Trådlöpning är en fornnordisk teknik där vi arbetar med våra Livstrådar.
Alla har en Livstråd som löper genom Väven som är Livet. När vi mår bra är Livstråden stark och Lysande, vibrerande av Färger. När vi mår dåligt är den tunn och färglös, livlös.
Detta kan vi arbeta med via Trådlöpning.
