OWB works to develop and support methods for sustainable socio-ecological city farming anywhere in the world. We develop methods (e.g. storytelling) for working pedagogically with children and adults and their relationship to food and farming. We support and develop Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) to establish a closer relationship between producer and consumer. All over the world a knowledge exchange about city farming as a way to develop a social, economic, ecological and cultural sustainable society occurs. We have a lot to learn from each other – and we know that we can make a change! The key concepts for making this sustainable society reality are to listen to each other, to work with grass root organizations and to make a stable base through “Dialogue between equals” (Stephen Lamb, “Touching the earth lightly”).
