For a really long time, people "labeled as inters*x" as been were subjected to surgery for the "s*xual correction".
Unfortunately this surgeries as always been done by the doctors when the person was a child under the parents' consent.
In a significant percentuage, people has been unsatisfied with the decision taken by the doctor and the parents that wanted to place the the biological s*x of the child in a well-defined sphere, ignoring (deliberately or not), the complications that could have been able to be created in the future when the child would have had its own view of his/her/hir situation.
It's interesting how it has been explained in this picture, the human vision about s*xuality, as if it's innate in the humanity the obsession to label everything, since the only thing with don't docket is what is unknow, and that scares.
