Inter Arts Center Inter Arts Center is a platform for artistic research and experimentation, located at the old Mazetti chocolate factory in Malmö.

Inter Arts Center (IAC) is an organization within the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts located in the old Mazetti chocolate factory in central Malmö. Inter Arts Center is a meeting point for staff and students at the Malmö Academies of Fine Arts, Music and Theatre who conduct experimental artistic research and development work, as well as for artists and creative professionals from outside the

academy. IAC provides excellent facilities for interdisciplinary projects, including fine arts, music and theatre, but also other arts and disciplines.

The publication was made possible by the Pufendorfinstitutet, Lunds universitet, which hosted the Advanced Study Group in Lund in 2025 and supported the publication as a funding partner.

IAC recommends: The Swedish Games Institute invites artists and creatives from various fields to apply for "The Playful Arts Accelerator" - come create playable art in a vibrant community of makers and thinkers!

The accelerator is a three month residency taking place from September to November 2026, during which projects are given the chance to develop into truly unique experiences. The selected creatives will receive a grant of 50.000 SEK as well as tailored support to develop their projects. The program is open to Swedish based projects, led by individuals or teams, who can participate on-site in Malmö during the residency.
