Inter Arts Center is a platform for artistic research and experimentation, located at the old Mazetti chocolate factory in Malmö.

Inter Arts Center (IAC) is an organization within the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts located in the old Mazetti chocolate factory in central Malmö. Inter Arts Center is a meeting point for staff and students at the Malmö Academies of Fine Arts, Music and Theatre who conduct experimental artistic research and development work, as well as for artists and creative professionals from outside the

academy. IAC provides excellent facilities for interdisciplinary projects, including fine arts, music and theatre, but also other arts and disciplines.

⭐ ARTIST PRESENTATION: Jennifer Rainsford

In the AR installation “Reciprocal Seeds”, a seed the size of a spaceship hovers twenty metres above the viewer. The seed belongs to Solidago canadensis, a pioneer plant and one of the first species to re-establish itself following natural disasters. In 2026, it was officially classified as an invasive species in Sweden. The work was created at the MAX IV synchrotron light facility in Lund, based on data and images from the facility’s radiation sources.

JENNIFER RAINSFORD is a Stockholm based artist whose artistic practice engages with the interface between art, film and science, through film, installation and interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers and activists. Her work explores the relationships between humans, technology and nature.

⭐ ARTIST PRESENTATION: RASMUS RAMÖ STREITH
The video installation S unfolds within a dreamlike, enclosed scenography. A stranger, intruder, or friend moves through recurring actions and passages - through windows, doors, and “button eyes.” Behind these rooms, another room is suggested: a state in which something is constantly in the process of becoming, yet has not found its final form.

RASMUS RAMÖ STREITH (*1985, based in Malmö) works with film, sculpture and installation. He graduated from Malmö Art Academy (2013–2018). His work has been exhibited at venues including Kunsthal Charlottenborg (2026), Südtiroler Künstlerbund in Bolzano (2025), Kohta Konsthall in Helsinki (2024), Minor Attractions in London (2024) and Malmö Konsthall (2022). The video work The Un dead (2018) is part of the Moderna Museet collection.

IAC recommends: "FISK – All that remains for me now is to, in accordance with the signed contract, become strange..." FISK is a newly written monologue about the sea and desire. Liv Vesterskov carries the entire performance alone on stage, in a script by Annika Nyman and directed by Katrine Wiedemann, with music by Halla Steinunn Stefánsdóttir. The tale of The Little Mermaid, told from the point where the story has already ended.

JUJU BENTO lives in an international landscape while working with spatiality. Born in the traditional Portuguese countryside in an engineer's family, her work explores installation. Based on phenomenology and perception, bodily archives are translated into atmospheres through sculpture, sound, and performance.
