☀️ June Program at Malmö International Rotary Club

As we approach the Swedish summer, we invite you to join us for our final two meetings before the summer break. These evenings offer a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate the friendships and conversations that make our club so special.

After June 8, MIRC will take its traditional summer pause, and we look forward to returning after the summer with renewed energy, fresh ideas, and exciting opportunities to connect once again.

June 1: The Story of Victoria Teatern in Malmö

Join us for a fascinating journey through more than a century of culture and entertainment as Randall Lewer shares the remarkable story of Victoria Teatern. From its beginnings as a silent film cinema to becoming one of Malmö's most beloved cultural venues, we'll discover how the theatre was saved from demolition and continues to enrich the city's cultural life today.

June 8: Meet Members of Rotary Berdychiv, Ukraine

Our final meeting before summer takes us to Ukraine, where we will meet members of Rotary Club Berdychiv. Learn about the challenges, achievements, and inspiring community projects of this young and dynamic club, which is already making a significant impact through education, healthcare, environmental initiatives, and access to clean water.

Whether you're a member, guest, or curious visitor, we warmly welcome you to join us for these final meetings before summer.

🎉 MIRC Welcomes Its First New Member of 2026

Malmö International Rotary Club is delighted to welcome Abimbola Ajomale as the first new member inducted into the club in 2026.

During a recent meeting, meeting chair and former club president Pete Hallworth presented Abimbola with his Rotary International pin and name badge, officially welcoming him into the Rotary family.

New members bring fresh perspectives, energy, and experience to our community, and we are excited to have Abimbola join us as we continue our work and fellowship in the year ahead.
