Behind every safe takeoff, smooth routing, and precise landing is a professional navigating complex skies with sharp focus, calm nerves, and split-second decisions. Juggling hundreds of lives daily is no small feat, yet they make the extraordinary look routine.

Thank you, ATCOs, for keeping our skies safe and guiding everyone safely home, 24/7.

🛩 IFISA 2026 - Berlin, Germany 🛩

Last week, the 16th International FISO Conference took place in Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪

President Mikkel Liebman Drescher and Vice President Oliver Wessollek welcomed a total of 63 participants from 19 countries 🌏

3 Days of networking, collaboration as well as exchange of knowledge and experiences 🤝

This year's highlights were a social evening at Aerodrome Straußberg EDAY 🛩 as well as a Tower visit of BER Airport EDDB ✈️

A big thank you goes to our German partner GdF 🇩🇪 which made the organization and hosting of the conference possible.

We would also like to thank our members ATSAC/ATCAC 🇨🇦 and Gate Aviation🇩🇰 for sponsoring our social evenings.

Finally, we thank all participants for an intensive and valuable exchange and look forward to welcoming you again next year in Gdańsk, Poland 🇵🇱

This week IFISA participated in the Commission Expert Group on Human Dimension (CEGHD) represented by Panos Charalampous and President Mikkel Drescher.
